Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views & Hot Tub

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Log Cabin/Hot Tub on Private Lake Jurassic Coast

This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

Branscombe Chalet on the Beach

‘Curlew' is on East beach in the lovely Devon village of Branscombe. It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. Two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West. Now a bookable sauna on the beach and free parking can be arranged

Chalet with beautiful views on slopes of Tor

The closest accommodation to the Tor summit. A characterful chalet with breathtaking views over exquisite private grounds and the Somerset Levels. Access immediately onto the Tor. Made from sustainable local cedar, this studio chalet features a kitchenette and beautiful bathroom with waterfall shower and bath. Moorhen cabin

Sit back and chill in this calm, stylish space. Moorhen is a newly refurbished cabin in the owner's grounds. Surrounded by open countryside and sitting directly on a bridleway/cycle route 26. It comes with use of the owner's tennis court, boules court and riverbank. In addition to the balcony some areas of the main garden are also for guest use . Within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth and the world famous Jurassic coast. Moorhen provides a peaceful base for you to take it easy and explore

Green Valley Off Grid Cabin

Our new, cosy, self contained eco cabin offers the perfect peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. Nestled in a meadow on our organic small holding in the Dorset downs, this area of outstanding natural beauty is great for walking and a short drive from the Jurassic coast. Perfect for singles, couples or families up to 4. It offers a comfortable king size bed and mezzanine with 2 single beds suitable for children. Entirely off grid, it has solar electricity, hot shower and a cosy wood stove.

Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Little India in the Heart of Bridport, Dorset

Do come and share our beautiful India themed self-catering wooden cabin in the heart of vibrant & historic market town Bridport, Dorset. Little India & Africa (also listed on AirBNB) are set in a beautiful oasis of flowers & plants. Double bedroom with on-suite shower and toilet facilities, fully fitted kitchen (including washing machine, dishwasher, plates, cups, saucepans) and a lovely sitting room with a sofa bed and complimentary Wi-Fi. We sadly can't host Children under 16 or dogs.

Cosy cabin, parking, stunning seaviews, Lyme Regis

Come and enjoy glorious sea and country views. We are in a quiet corner of Lyme Regis, a scenic mile’s walk from the beach. The cabin has parking and is a 5 minute drive to beach. It is an easy walk down with sea views then an uphill walk back. Lyme is hilly with glorious vistas. It’s a good spot for walkers - near the coastal path plus near a footpath that takes you either inland into Uplyme’s country walks or via the picturesque River Lim for a meandering longer walk to Lyme.

After a day hiking or on the beach come home to your delightful retreat and relax in the comfortable dining/living area before retiring to a cozy bed with ensuite bathroom.
