Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

We had an amazing time at this place with our family and relatives. We were also very lucky to have nice, sunny and warm weather in Scotland which is rare. Hot tub was the plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We so loved our stay at the Fruin Cottage! The most peaceful surroundings and a lovely walk just up the road with gorgeous views of Loch Lomond. It was the perfect spot to cozy up after a day exploring the area!

This Airbnb was fantastic! The 2-bedroom apartment was exactly like the photos—clean, stylish, and super comfortable. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up, which made our stay really enjoyable from start to finish. The host was absolutely wonderful—responsive, kind, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience. Communication was easy and smooth the entire time. The location was great too—peaceful, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed. It really felt like a home away from home. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay!

Perfect family accomodation. Plenty of space, easy to access, good kitchen.

A group of 9 of us headed down for a stag do and were very impressed with the property. It was extremely clean and spacious with a beautiful modern interior. The downstairs cellar/bar area was a great place to relax and play pool and a lot of us made use of the spacious hot tub as well. The property was easy to find and had everything we needed, everyone had a great time. We had a little bit of trouble with the lockbox situation and the keyfob for the barrier to the car park but that was possibly just because it was dark. All in all we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend and visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Claires’s cottage. The cottage was spotless clean with amazing views. We were welcomed by a hamper which was very lovely and thoughtful. Claire was very responsive and also shared clear instructions and suggestions for the local attractions , food and places, the check in went smooth as well . The place is very quiet , perfect for a relaxing family vacation . A great serene experience . We will come back for sure 👍

great location for station, easy accommodation for short stay

Memorable stay for our family of four. Lovely spot between the quaint town of Drymen and Loch Lomond. Convenient location in central Scotland - close to Glasgow, easy drive to Edinburgh, and good access some of the most scenic areas of the Highlands. Friendly, responsive hosts. Cozy, comfortable cottage. Well fitted kitchen. Only small issue was low water pressure in the showers. We’d definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at the house, Laura was an excellent host and the house worked well with kids. I’d definitely stay here again.

Logement propre et impeccable, très bien rangé. Il y a tout le nécessaire à l'intérieur. C'est possible de se garer dans la rue, on a eu une place à chaque fois. Le seul bémol serait l'isolation phonique, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la maison et aussi le chauffage est réglé pour ne fonctionner qu'à certaines heures donc le matin il fait froid en bas, il faut trouver comment régler le chauffage. Sinon tout est ok, je recommande.

A peaceful and tranquil hideaway with thoughtful touches. Guests must be aware of barbecue only facilities and think ahead of the bits and pieces you would need. One massive reason we would return is Katrina’s thoughtfulness of her honesty box shop with various supplies and wants. Great for couples with or without small dogs not really all that suitable for bigger or noisy dogs. The serenity we got for 24 hours was incredible and we can’t wait to return.
