The self-catering cottage is in a unique gated courtyard near the foot of Gold Hill and is within a short walk of the town centre and a local pub. It is compact and therefore suitable for singles and couples (I do not accept 3rd party bookings), and we also welcome well-behaved pets. You will have use of a private enclosed garden a short walk from the cottage, and on-street parking is available nearby.

This recently converted stable block is situated on part of a private property in a semi rural area with designated garden area. Approx 50 min drive to beaches . Close to a vast network of footpaths and about a 2 mile walk to Shaftesbury via By-ways. Walking distance of about 2.5 miles to Compton Abbas Airfield. Views out onto fields and horses.

Cosy Countryside 2-Bedroom Guest House

Escape to our cosy countryside annexe in Child Okeford within walking distance to historic Hambledon Hill. Set beside a peaceful stream with woodland views and birdsong, it’s perfect for a rural getaway. The self-contained space has 2 bedrooms (one with cot), a fully equipped kitchen for home cooking, and a shower room with washer and dryer. Enjoy the wood fire, private deck with grill, village shop and pubs. A peaceful home away from home to unwind and explore the charm of rural Dorset.

The Vintage Hideaway

The vintage hideaway is a self contained annexe attached to my house. It is light and comfortable, it has a bedroom with sofa, kitchenette with small oven/grill and two hotplates ,fridge, freezer and microwave and a shower room. Access from the bedroom to a seating area on the deck ,over looking an area of outstanding natural beauty. The house is close to lovely walks and the historic town of Shaftesbury with a variety of cafes , individual shops and pubs, and of course Gold Hill.

A self-Catering Lodge on our Farm you may hear cockerels & the peacocks which roam freely We live here with our cats and 2 dogs, we are within walking Distance to local Amenities and lovely walks. The town of Shaftesbury is about a 15 min walk where you will find Goldhill made Famous by the Hovis advert, Lots of independent shops with places to eat & Drink. within an hours drive to find attractions such as Stone Henge beaches bigger well known shops such as Bournemouth Bath Salisbury.

Lakeside Cottage - at Incombe Farm

Really comfortable and warm converted stables next to our main house but with privacy, standing in idyllic private valley. Less than 2 miles from Shaftesbury. The cottage overlooks our small lake (about 1/2 acre). Peaceful countryside with buzzards, woodpeckers, a barn owl, ducks, pheasants, deer and even otters. See them at your breakfast table or in our enclosed veranda with circular table and overhead heater. Well behaved small / medium dogs only - strictly by prior agreement.
