Willow at Fen Lodge Shepherd's Huts

Fen Lodge Shepherd's Huts is close to the Suffolk heritage coast with Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh a short drive away. There are heath and woodland walks, RSPB Minsmere and a great village pub a short walk from the hut. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the comfy bed, the wood burning stove, the dark night sky and the views across the meadow. Fen Lodge is suitable for couples and solo adventurers. This charming recently modernised two bedroom end-terrace holiday cottage in the centre of the village conservation area sleeps up to four. It is perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk Coast, historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings and is a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Up to two well behaved pets allowed. Note: there are 2 padded low beams and steep stairs. The garden is enclosed by hedging and fencing but it is not dog proof.

We supply all bedding and the 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 with a fully equipped Kitchen. From July 23 we have built a another holiday home next door called Lilac cottage. This cottage sleep 6 people.

Shepherds hut Westleton/Minsmere, Suffolk Coast

We live just outside the pretty village of Westleton, a five minute drive to Dunwich beach and a short bike ride to the RSPB Minsmere. Southwold and Aldeburgh are also close by. The Shepherds hut has its own field, full of wild flowers and wildlife with beautiful views across the fields. On a clear night stargazing is breathtaking and most mornings the bird song will wake you! This is simple living!
