We stayed here for a women’s retreat that I hosted. There was plenty of comfortable sleeping room for all 15 of our guests. The house was more than equipped with everything we needed for seating, cooking all of our meals and plenty of towels and linens. The setting was so beautiful and scenery to die for whether it was a cozy, rainy day inside or a beautiful, sunny hike outdoors. Make sure you read the directional instructions thoroughly as the driveway is a bit confusing, especially in the dark or the rain!

This place is incredible. If you want to hike you have many great places to hike in a short drive. If you like to hang out in town, Sparta is a 5 minute drive to meet some locals and have some good food and drinks. If you want to just get away the house was immaculate. Very comfortable and private. As soon as we pulled in the driveway we knew how well kept the house would be. It was a wonderful trip. I can’t wait to get back to hike the other trails. Very easy to get situated in the cabin. It was very clean and private which is what we look for. It was nice to have pancakes in the morning. Nice treat. We usually take our own coffee but we forgot. I was excited to see it was stocked with coffee too. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Hot tub was already hot when we arrived! They had beautiful flowers and fire starters for the fire pit. We enjoyed the games available and they even had some books to peruse. Upon entry they had the fireplace and some music waiting for us. It was a nice touch. There were plenty of towels for the shower and hot tub. . Sorry for making more laundry for you but thanks for all the towels! It was also an easy drive to bowling green where we had dinner two nights. Equally easy drive to mammoth cave.

LOVED our stay! Restaurant at the marina is superb, my husband said the “dirty” wings are the best he’s ever had. They had a DJ there for Friday night karaoke. Outdoor seating as well. Suggest visiting the Standing Stone State Park and looking at the trout dam and they allow fishing. Lots of hiking (pretty easy) and dog friendly. The Steel Coop in Livingston is worth visiting. They have an outdoor patio (dog friendly), karaoke on Friday night and live music on Saturday night. All together, it was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend away from home. We will be back!

We had a great stay at Billy Goat Retreat! Jill and LJ are great hosts. Very responsive and made sure everything was going well for us. We enjoyed the fresh eggs everyday, visiting the goats and relaxing hot tub. The cabin is extraordinary and we hope to return someday. You won't be disappointed here, just book it.

Perfect for a quick little get away! Quiet and peaceful place to unplug and relax, especially in the hot tub. Blackstone, indoor gel fuel fireplace, fire pit, games, bathroom essentials and so much more provided. We will definitely be back!! Kassidy was a great host and very responsive with any questions/concerns.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The back and front porches were wonderful spots to enjoy the countryside and do a little cow watching. This was also a great spot for bird watching and listening. I use the Merlin (bird ID) app and added a lot of new birds to my list. Our host was attentive and provided a lot of unexpected but appreciated amenities.

"La Cabana" is a very unique cabin setting. We are animal lovers and felt great amongst the farm animals. The hosts are undoubtedly the most friendliest people on this planet. Grace is so fun to spend time with. Peacock (Ginger) and peahens that roam around without any human fear is such a delightful sight. My wife and daughter fell in love with this cute 5 weeks only pony "Timber". The entire cabin has very distinctive paintings done by Grace. Kitchen is well equipped with pans and silverwares. There were fresh farm eggs in kitchen when we checked-in. Had fun understanding new board games that were available. Our daughter enjoyed playing the Tongue drums. The deck is huge with lots of furniture. The bedrooms are cozy with tons of lines available for guests. We opted for a one painting session and Grace is a skilled artists. It felt great to learn few tip and tricks from her at her studio. Studio attic is so impressive. Marty and Grace are an amazing hosts. Loved our stay!!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights here with our pup. It was perfectly relaxing, peaceful and had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s plenty of kitchen appliances, coffee and coffee maker, games, yoga mat, bubble bath supplies, streaming services etc I could go on and on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a peaceful quiet stay here. We will be recommending this to our friends! Thanks Anthony!

supercalifragilisticexpialidocious..... A beautiful resting place among the hills & trees. Peaceful and serene. Check-in was smooth and the host was very gracious, allowing us to re-book from an earlier time period that we were unable to attend. Unfortunalty, due to rainy weather, we were unable to enjoy the back porch or fire pit, but we will for sure at our next booking here. House was tastefully decorated and we enjoyed use of the blackstone for breakfast on the front porch. Highly recommend.

The Little Lake house was a wonderful experience for me and my boyfriend! The location was quiet and we were able to unwind and relax. Entering the home, we were impressed by how spotless and clean the living space was. There were plenty of utensils, bathroom supplies, kitchen equipment etc. for us to use as well. The bedrooms were clean and had extra blankets to use out in the living space. Jeff and Jill were very communicative and responded quickly to any questions or comments! I would recommend this home as there are a lot of nature trails/falls to visit surrounding the area. It’s a wonderful place to wind down and relax in where you can just sit outside and listen to nature!

Lindsey was very easy to communicate with and the house was great.

This cabin is private and in a great location with a creek right next to it, but it is only about a two minute drive into town. The host is extremely friendly and accommodating. This was the first time I have ever had a host that came down to meet me and also regularly checked in to see if I needed anything. I was staying at an Airbnb in the middle of Nashville that was clearly a landlord special and a place that people come to party and leave. When I canceled that reservation and booked here I was so relieved. Very affordable and their yard and property is beautiful. We enjoyed walking around and checking the creek out.

We enjoyed staying at this historic home. The host was quick to respond and even kept us updated on severe weather that was headed to the area. We would definitely love to stay there again.

My partner and I had an amazing weekend get away here at the Cozy Cabin. It is a beautiful, relaxing, and very peaceful place to stay. I’m so glad that we chose the Cozy Cabin, we will definitely be returning for another stay! If you stay here and are looking for a good place to eat, then go check out The Grill on the Hill, they have great food and they’re only 10mins away! Overall we loved the place, and the internet is amazing, we were able to game on a PS5 and PC at the same time! I highly recommend staying here! Jeff and his wife are also very friendly and helpful people, they respond very quickly to any and all questions I asked!

The cabin is really good. We all like it! It feels like visit gramma in summer moments. The interior is beautiful and peaceful.

We had an absolute blast! The cabin is so lovely, and was conveniently located close to the event we were attending that weekend. It’s private enough that we felt like we had the space to ourselves, but close enough to the surrounding areas that it didn’t feel completely isolated. John was a great host— he was very proactive with letting us know about any potential issues with the cabin, and provided clear instructions for check in and check out. Next time we visit, we’ll definitely be looking into staying here again!

The cabin and the area around are so peaceful, and felt nostalgic. We had a great time at the cabin and will definitely be returning!

This place was amazing! We loved the location and the lake nearby, especially the dock. The porch and fire pit made the stay super relaxing and cozy. Marcena was a great host and we’d love to stay again!

Comfy beds/ bedding, great AC, good water pressure. Very clean and comfortable.
