Misty Mountain Hut - Ruapehu

Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

Whanganui Awa became the first waterway in the world to get legal personhood, in 2017. Staying next to her in "The Braeburn" is a rare opportunity to come inside this often admired building. On the second floor in the main wing with a huge exclusive NON SMOKING balcony, is your truly blissful escape. Come watch the sunsets, and pour yourself a drink. Slow down, relax and enjoy. Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and breakfast is included. There is a smart Tv and Wifi. There is a locked garage available for storage of items such as bikes or small water craft. There is heaps of parking for trailers etc. Wake up and listen to the bird song - we hope you will love this place as much as we do!
