Perfect for a winter escape... relax by the cosy fire with a book, enjoy BBQs on the deck weather permitting, or simply listen to the sound of native birds. The bay can be accessed directly from the property via some steps. It's only a short drive to Tāwharanui Regional Park, Matakana Village for cafes, restaurants, cinema and the famous Matakana Saturday Markets, Omaha Beach and Goat Island.

Our family friendly, self contained guesthouse is situated on a beautiful lifestyle block, only 12 minutes drive from Matakana and 2 minutes from the incredible Mathesons Bay and surrounding Leigh area. Sleeping 4, this spacious guesthouse has a bedroom with double bed, and a loft with a super king Ecosa mattress and views of the stars through a skylight. Within 2 hours of high tide you can access Whangateau harbour right off the deck. 2 neighbouring properties (listed as "A Kiwi Classic") mean you can be together or separate for family groups of up to 20 or more.
