Wonderful eco-sustainable French style cottage built of stone and native timber with picturesque views of the river valley and mountains. Near to Carterton, Greytown and Masterton. Drink pure artesian spring water while listening to abundant birds and sitting on your veranda. Go for a bush walk in the National Park across the river, go biking, play golf - or visit the vineyards and restaurants for a vibrant time. This is an adventure escape that is close to the vibrant Wairarapa 'good life'!

Beach front - unit , steps from beach, 2 bedroom

Not only are you beachfront but around the corner from the golf club and tennis courts. This wee gem is one of five holiday bachs, so respect of the other owners is premium, as is yours. You have your own very private, sun drenched sheltered deck with a bbq provided. A queen bed in one room, and a double and single in the other. The kitchen has all your essentials and even a dishwasher. There is a TV with a Chromecast, children's games, toys and videos are plentiful. Walk in and just relax.

Kotahi Bach

Escape to beautiful Castlepoint with this gorgeous bach, perfectly located on the beach front, just a short walk away from amenities, including the Castlepoint store and fishing club. Safe sandy beaches, fishing, boating and water sports, a nine-hole golf course and hiking tracks make Castlepoint the perfect getaway location. Note: in Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (sheets, towels, dish cloths) and tidy before you leave. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Wai Ngaio Retreat - Coastal Lodge

The Wai Ngaio Retreat, with its ever changing Pacific Ocean views is a large lodge set back in the hill about 5kms from the isolated beach settlement of Otahome. Otahome is situated mid- way between the beach resorts of Castlepoint and Riversdale on the East Coast of the Wairarapa. It takes approx 45 minutes to drive here from Masterton. The price quoted is a 'unit rate' for up to 12 persons. The property can accommodate up to 20 persons, extra persons cost $50 per person per night extra.

The Cottage - Riversdale Beach

This lovely, secluded cottage is a mere 30 minute drive from Masterton. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay or go and explore the area. Just a 10 minute drive to Riversdale Beach, a 15 minute drive to the Tinui Bar and Cafe and a 35 minute drive to Castlepoint. Riversdale Beach has a 18 hole golf course , a lovely store to go and get Fish and Chips, a sand beach with lifeguards and good beach fishing. There is a children's play area to keep the littlies occupied.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

Tui's Perch Castlepoint Beach

A lovely two bedroom Lockwood bach at Castlepoint. Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge. A great deck to enjoy the view! Comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 Queen rooms along with a nice leather sofa-bed in the lounge. The property is set just over half way up Guthrie Crescent so you know the view is a winner. A beautiful spot perfect to Relax and Unwind! *Now with Wifi Included* Heatpump/air con Linen is not included but access to a Full Linen Service is available No pets allowed

Large Family house near Castlepoint

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.

Bach living in the Dunes - stunning views

Location, location, location! This 70's era bach is located right in the sand dunes, with gorgeous views from the top floor. Initial entry is via the front door, and the lift takes you to the second floor. (There are no internal stairs) This is an original NZ bach and requires you to PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS THANKYOU. (I can supply if you're travelling) There are 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds upstairs and a queen, and 2 children's bunks downstairs.
