This is an amazing place to stay. It is roomy, clean and beautiful. The hot tub was an awesome feature that the family thoroughly enjoyed. Richard is the perfect host. The sun rising in the morning off the water with a gorgeous view from the many windows was our absolute favourite. We highly recommend staying at Richard's place!

We spent three weeks in October at this place for a very quiet vacation away from work. We very much enjoyed our time here. We spent evenings on the deck watching the sunset on Lake Huron. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the stars (and the Northern Lights on a few nights) at night. There is a beautiful room on the second floor with windows looking towards the Lake, which was a great spot to do yoga or meditate. The house was well stocked with what we needed to make our three weeks a comfortable, cozy stay. It was only a 20 minute walk into the town, so we could visit the stores without taking a car. We very much enjoyed our time here and will come back for sure.

We had an amazing stay! The place feels like home immediately, was absolutely clean and perfect for a weekend getaway with up to 6 people. Thank you for the great service, including ordering additional board games overnight!

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quiet spot. Close to hiking trails and great amenities. Listing is very accurate with great advice to ensure a great stay.

Came in September, days were warm and evenings were cool. You need blankets if you want your windows open. Non motorized equipment was good, canoe, kayak, etc. were in good condition. Water is crystal clear. We took our dog and the area was very private so we did not need a leash. Lovely cottage for 6 adults with room to spare. Beautiful sunsets! I knew we would do lots of pasta and I brought my favorite pot. I didn't find a pasta pot as big as mine in the lake house, so if you are a family of pasta lovers, consider bringing a large pot and colander for BIG meals.

The house was excellent and had everything we needed. It felt like home, cozy, with a great view! It was filled with all dishes we needed, as well as towels and blankets. I celebrated my birthday there and it accommodated my friends and family. I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!

This place is in a still location right by the water. It’s just like described. We could hear the waves on the shoreline from our beds. It was a so peaceful and private. The cottage had everything we needed. The cute garden gnomes all around the property were adorable. We enjoyed watching the stars while sitting by the firepit. We went in the fall so it was cool out, but I’m sure the kayaks and water toys would be amazing in the warm season. We will definitely be back again!

Magnifique séjour au chalet Skipping Rock, il porte bien son nom! Mon conjoint a tenté de battre des records de rebonds sur l'eau avec les galets de la plage super tranquille, intime et magnifique. Le chalet était très bien, dog friendly et avait toutes les commodités nécessaires. Les instructions d'arrivée et de départ était très claires, et les hôtes très conviviaux! Nous recommandons!

Our stay at Rene and Karin’s cottage was absolutely phenomenal. The place is even more beautiful than the photos, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. You can tell how much care they’ve put into every detail, both inside and out. Every utensil and item we could possibly need was already there, which made everything so convenient and stress-free. It was the perfect getaway, and we truly felt at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

Steph and Al’s place is exactly what Airbnb should be: a welcoming home away from home. The setting is gorgeous, mattresses and pillows were excellent, kitchen was well stocked, and our hosts were helpful, kind, and responsive. This is our favourite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Thank you for making it special!

So much to do on the property and the hosts were extremely nice and polite. Good fishing, boats for rent, bicycles included along with tons of campground games. Will be returning soon!

Very Cool place to stay! Has everything you need and some… Host is Top Notch and very responsive if needed. I love how it’s got the rustic cabin feel but with a women’s touch and make you feel right at home. This was a work trip so we didn’t get to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Definitely be back when in the area. 5 Stars all day long!!

Had a great stay at the North star Cottage! Cottage was clean, cozy and came with everything needed to cook, clean, and entertainment to pass the time. Woudl highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a place to stay in Tobermory!

We were looking for a simple cabin to connect as a family, and this location did just that. The place was clean when we arrived and the attendant on site was great. I would recommend this location to others.

Eva’s place was amazing. We had an amazing and relaxing girls weekend. The place was clean and had lots of things to do from paddle boarding or kayaking to staying in playing a game or doing a puzzle. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect with friends. The views and sunsets were breathtaking, and there are many seating options to take it all in.

We had a wonderful time, the house was beautiful and clean, the surroundings are amazing, the house had everything our families needed.

We stayed in this place for 5 days, during the fall weather. Elizabeth is very well organized. Cabin is very comfy, home has good heating and good insulation. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!!! Just like the pictures , able to use fire pit, kiyaks , BBQ and deck. Reason why it’s difficult to reserve. 🍁❤️ If I could speak to my past self. I would recommend bringing water socks for boating. (if you don’t have any , otherwise you’d be getting your shoes SOAKED ) Thank you for a beautiful stay !!

Diane and Cliffe were by far the best hosts i've ever had. They are very attentive to our needs, easy to communicate with, responded to requests within a timely manner and are super accomodating for their guests. I had a great stay and would definitely book with them again. All around great people!
