The Cottage

A rustic cottage in the middle of Darthia Farm. The farm sits along the shore of West Bay and a short trail brings you from the cottage to the salt water. We grow organic mixed veggies and fruit, raise sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, and work with Haflinger horses. Our farm store that is open everyday except Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The property is 15 minutes away from the Schoodic Section of Acadia and is surronded is by countless hiking trails and access to fresh and salt water.

Upstairs apartment, interior & exterior stairs/ all private space. Open concept living room with full kitchen. Living area: sofa with ottoman, recliner, rocker, smart TV, ceiling fan & window A/C. WiFi. Bathroom: shower, vanity, flush, washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron, toiletries, towels, and blow dryer. Bedroom: One queen size platform bed, dresser, bedside tables, sound machine, closet, ceiling fan, window A/C. Bedroom door opens to a small private deck w/stairs to ground level.

Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Take the local ferry to MDI to explore Bar harbor’s restaurants and shops, or stay local and enjoy the less traveled side of Acadia National Park, Schoodic Pennisula (5-10 minute drive).
