Witsand : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Trotz sehr später Anreise hat alles gut geklappt. Wir haben leider nur kurz übernachtet aber würden wieder kommen. Vielen Dank auch an den lieben Hausmeister, der uns nachts noch reingelassen hat.

The host Marinda met us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and was very responsive the entire time. Starfish Cottage was easy to find, well located and absolutely spotless, with lovely smelling linen and towels. Extra touches like Easter eggs and hot cross buns on our Easter weekend break, were really appreciated. In addition there were a lot of other extra touches, like biscuits, fruit in a fruit bowl, milk and water waiting in the fridge. Matches and firelighters by the fireplace. The additional toiletries were a godsend when we discovered my father had left some of his toiletries behind. Having firewood available for sale was also a bonus. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were awesome. We loved having the fully enclosed garden for our 3 doggos who enjoyed the break too. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Carin's place in Still Bay. It is a bit rustic, but it was clean and neat our family enjoyed the location on a superb beach. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor shower. We appreciated Carin's help with a few issues and some items we left behind. Thanks Carin!

We loved our stay at Casa Pescador which was well equipped and offered privacy, peace and quiet. One of the best beaches in SA was directly accessible and a short walk from the house. The new supermarket which is minutes away, allowed us to stock up on everything we needed. Casa Pescador and Struisbaai reminded us of the unfussy beach holidays we enjoyed as children and comes highly recommended.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Der Tip für den Strand beim Hafen war toll. Als Familie war es toll und unkompliziert. Bei voller Belegung käme man mit dem Geschirr/ Töpfen/Abwaschmöglichkeiten aber vermutlich am die Grenzen.

We had a great stay, Wern was communicative and friendly and even offered to get wood for us when he went into Bredasdorp. We will definately be back!

Perfect Easter getaway! Spacious, clean home fit our whole family. Shirley, the helper, was amazing—made our stay extra special! Highly recommend.

Was a wonderful stay. Even though the power was off in Struisbaai due to fire damaged we were still able to use the gas stove. There were also lights available. Jutta kept me updated continuously regarding the power outage. The house was perfect for my family and my dog who loved the close proximity to the beach. We will definitely be back

What a super spot! We felt very spoiled stepping out of the door directly onto the beautiful beach. The house is comfy and welcoming, just what’s needed for a relaxing break. We will definitely return as soon as we can.

Das schöne Haus liegt in einem durch zwei verschlossene Gates gesicherten Naturschutzgebiet. Der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer und dem Balkon auf die Bucht und das Meer ist atemberaubend. Küche und Wohnzimmer bestehen aus einem großen Raum. Die Küche ist komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem, wenn auch für große Menschen etwas kurz. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Absolutely fantastic views of the bay!! Adri's house is absolutely lovely with comfortable indoor and outdoor furnishings! The house is clean and the swimming pool is a bonus! We enjoyed a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it!

Amazing location, my brother caught his PB Cob while we were in Witsand which made the trip even more special. The kids loved it. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience unspoiled nature. Cannot wait to go again.

We had a great stay at Zelda’s place. The location is on the beach with only the street and small dune to cross to get to the long beach. The views from the balcony were stunning and made for wonderful evening braai and family time. It is a quiet street with only traffic from the neighbors as there is no through way or public beach. The swimming beach and shops are a short drive with plenty for all to do and see and explore. We had plenty of hot water and bedding was warm and clean. Plenty of indoor space for lounging around or making meals. All needed equipment for meals and cleaning were on hand. The kids loved the pool and soccer tables and the board games available. All in all a great stay. Home away from home.

Hannah's place is a minimalist concrete-built beach house, right on the edge of the Skulpiesbaai Nature Reserve, and beyond it Shelly Beach. The place has an arty, loft-apartment style vibe - right up our street - basically one large room with concrete floors, carefully curated vintage furniture, and a separate bathroom. Everything worked well, and the large sliding glass doors at the front and back of the property let the seaside air and light flood in. Stillbaai itself is a charming little holiday town situated on both sides of estuary where the Goukou River meets the sea - well worth a stop-over on the way to or from the Garden Route.

Line’s place is everything you want for a relaxed family holiday! The perfect beach house in the best location - quick access to the river (great for younger kids), the beach and the harbour. The upstairs lounge / entertainment space is much larger than it looks on the pictures and has a beautiful view. Very comfy couches to relax on after a day in the sun. We were between 7-11 people in the house and it never felt like there was not enough space. And all the amenities and kitchen appliances you can think of. Line was also very responsive and accomodating of our special requests (we added people to the original booking twice). I genuinely fell in love with Stillbaai all over again, in part because of the fantastic experience we had in this house. I will definitely book this place again - it’s well worth the money!

What a gem right with seaviews from bed and a tidal pool right outside. We walked along the ocean quite a and congratulted us that we found the nicest place to stay in the entire area! Thank you for your hospitality!

Annette’ place is an absolute gem mid way between Struisbaai and Agulhas. There are 2 lounge areas one for tv and the other with panoramic views over the ocean. The place is wild and it was an absolute pleasure to watch the surf and the tides come and go from your own lounge. Mesmerising.

Really loved our stay at Seehuis. Karin and Theresa were lovely hosts. The house is in a fantastic position right on the beach, and you can fall asleep listening to the waves crashing. The house is very comfortable, lots of accommodation and very well laid out. Its a practical beach holiday house. There is a little shop in town that has many supplies. We had a fantastic week. Thank you!
