What a gorgeous holiday home. We loved our two-week stay at Cannisters. Super peaceful and comfortable with a dog-friendly beach at the end of the road. And a 2-minute drive to a Woolies, bakery, BWS, coffee, etc. Patricia includes lots of practical and thoughtful touches in her home including fresh milk, bread, muesli, extra toothbrushes, pantry staples, games, dog bowls and more. Lovely linen, plenty of towels, comfortable couches, a big dining table for meals and puzzles, a well equipped kitchen and lots of seating areas front and back. We couldn't fault anything!

It’s close to the beach, shops, and restaurants — all within a 10-minute walk. The room is cosy, and you can hear the sound of the ocean. I especially loved the balcony on the second floor. A great escape from the city.

A wonderful place to enjoy a week in Coogee. We loved having the beach and main street with shops and restaurants just a few minutes away, as well as bus stops to explore the rest of Sydney. The house feels like a home and had everything we needed. Sophie is lovely and was very easy to communicate with during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Phou is a lovely host! She was quick to answer all of our questions and kind enough to help with other information and requests though we couldn’t meet in person. She even provided us some food which beyond our expectations. The house itself is well designed and can accommodate a lot of people. However, there’s only 2 bathrooms so need a bit of time management. Other than that our stay were amazing! The location is in a lovely neighborhood close to the airport. It’s walkable to train station (within 1 km range). If you plan to drive though, parking is a bit tricky but Phou’s detailed guide would get you covered. All in all, I would recommend this place to any group that plans to visit Sydney.

I booked the day of check-in & it was ready in the afternoon. Check-in & was super easy & we were greeted on arrival. We had everything we needed. Comfortable, cosy, clean, a home away from home. Parking was undercover at the doorstep which was very convenient. Belinda was a great host and very responsive. We loved our stay and will be back.

Kim's place was located in a quiet street, just down the road from large parks and only a short drive to the Bass Hill Plaza. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The place was well appointed and very spacious, with all the amenities that you would need. It was isolated from the hosts' house and felt very private. The snack bowl was a welcome surprise.

This was a great place for us to stay. Very clean and everything supplied. If you forgot something there was a very good chance it was in the pantry. We made good use of the barbecue under the outdoor covered area. Large secure yard for young kids - dog kennel and dog toys were there too! The owner was great at communicating and although we didn’t need anything she offered assistance should we have needed it. Quiet location not too far to beach, shops and club. The house was everything we wanted. Two bedrooms, plenty of space and storage. The sunroom was restful and a place where kids could peacefully play.

The treehouse was beautiful, grounding and relaxing, we booked early week and most restaurants aren’t open until late week which wasn’t an issue with all the local produce available to cook within the home. All the local shops had lots to offer . Very beautiful home to unwind in ♥️

This is a gorgeous property with all the amenities you want for a cosy and relaxing time in the country. Lots of space and areas to enjoy the beautiful view, very clean, and perfect for furry friends. Maree and George were gracious hosts - thank you so much!

The Cottage is located in a beautiful spot with amazing views and everything you could possibly need. This was our second time visiting and we hope to be back! It’s a quick drive to town and the heated pool was wonderful. The games court is great for families or you can just spend the whole time enjoying the view from the deck. Hannah is a helpful, responsive host and a pleasure to communicate with.

My dog and I had the best stay over Easter, Justin and John were superb hosts and incredibly hospitable and friendly. The cottage is very cute and comfortable and the gardens are beautiful and huge. The details also made a huge difference, nice linen, towels and extras - Justin even had home made soups for me when I arrived plus snacks and Easter eggs. Thank you! We will come back for sure

Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. The pool was great and such a peaceful location. We had our parents with us, who loved the separate place to stay in the granny out the back. The home was very well stocked and the beds were also very comfortable with ample pillows to choose from. The only thing I could fault was the baby cot supplies was a bit hard and our little one couldn’t sleep well in it and we ended up using the spare room for him.

As a family of 4 adults and 1 pet, we stayed at the Sanctuary over a weekend of near consistent rain, oftentimes torrential. This delightful home certainly lived up to its name for us as a home away from home, especially when compared to a hotel room or holiday park cabin which would each have been miserable in such weather. This property is well located, beautifully presented to guests and the hosts are both considerate and easy to deal with. We expect to have cause to visit Wollongong as a family again in future and will undoubtedly check the availability of the Sanctuary before looking elsewhere.

Peaceful and beautiful place to be with kids and grandparents. Coffee offer at Milkwood was very kind gesture. Will definitely come back again.

Joes place was lovely and my family and I (plus dog) really enjoyed staying here. Prime location- in walking distance of dog parks, shopping centres etc. We would definitely consider coming back if needing to stay in Sydney again.

Our little family of 4 had the most amazing stay at Karen’s cottage! The photos don’t do it justice. The house was impeccably clean and well thought out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The stunning view over the trees was a highlight. Having a morning tea overlooking the trees with the beautiful birds was so memorable. The cottage is walking distance to the beach, park and a few great cafes just at the end of the street. Couldn’t recommend this house anymore. We will back! Thanks Karen 😊

Cosy place. Kerri and Alan were very thoughtful, and made sure that every aspect of the stay was looked after, having provided umbrellas, amenities for the puppy (including some biscuits), a kitchenette packed with everything, and made great local recommendations.

My teen daughter and I stayed at this rental for two weeks. It worked really well for us. WiFi was reliable for working remotely (Zoom only zonked out a couple times over numerous calls). It was also an easy bus ride to downtown Sydney. The neighbourhood felt very safe. It was super hilly though, if you have trouble with walking, another neighborhood might be better. Our hosts were super - very communicative and helpful!

This is such a beautiful location. We loved being next to both Bronte beach and Bronte park. There are amazing cafes down the street as well as a bus stand. We loved the coastal walk and the pool. Anne was very willing to provide essentials and was very accommodating with our timing. One note for those with more than 2 adults: the single beds are designed for children (as listed in the description). We made it work for my adult children, and the location made it worth it. :)
