A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests and a single person kayak. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. A paradise in the woods, a place to connect with nature. Sit in tranquility with the living creatures near the lake. No wifi, we have NATURE. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

Riverside Retreat of Mavillette

Take it easy at this tranquil riverside getaway. A self contained, open concept unit. Relax on the back deck and watch the birds and look for deer, or bring your kayaks and launch them right from the back yard. 1km to Nova Scotia famous Mavillette beach. Mavillette river in the back yard is great for swimming and leads right through the wetlands to the Ocean. Equipped with a mini fridge, hot plate, microwave/convection oven, toaster and bbq and all kitchen essentials. Long term discounts.

The Shack---an ideal off-grid forest experience

Want to disconnect? Experience privacy and tranquility in a cozy forested hideaway! The Shack is an off-grid, comfy, one-room cabin (16 ft. x 20 ft.). It's a .5km hike on a rocky wood road from our home . No electricity, internet, or cell coverage. Can be "buggy" during blackfly season. Enterprise wood stove for heat + camp stove + BBQ. Fresh water + wood provided. Board games; over 60 books . Outhouse. Campfire pit. Access to canoe, life jackets and paddles (free)+ Internet at owner’s home.

Kick back and relax in this spacious lakeside heat pump, infloor heated cottage, new August 2023. The separate bedroom with queen bed, has a beautiful barn slide door. The main living area has a queen sofa couch. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets or a campfire by the lake . For your added pleasure is a six man, hot tub, nestled in the woods under a beautiful gazebo - shared with one (2 person) cottage. Free use of kayaks, paddle boards, mountain bikes, swim in the lake, or enjoy leisure walks.

We would like to share this piece of our paradise with you, located on a peaceful, crystal clear lake. Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

The Narrows

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled on private lakefront property. Shoreline connecting two large lakes and river flowing to the ocean. Great place for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Located 5 minutes from Mavilette Beach Provincial Park and nearby a convenience store. This newly built cabin is equipped with full bathroom, kitchen and two queen sized beds. It also has outdoor chairs, fire pit, bbq, picnic table and 2 kayaks.

Private Cozy lakefront cottage in Quinan.

We have recently built onto the cottage. We added an additional bedroom and a much larger living room and entrance. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with white walls, lots of windows and high ceilings allowing for great light. A remote location, quiet and perfect for relaxing. Only a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth.
