Beautiful Restored Barn -The Old Stables

The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private, with a contained garden. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm & Haynes Car Museums.

This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

Myrtle cottage is a modern, dedicated living space annexed to our 17th century thatched cottage. Pitney itself is a delightful small village situated above The Levels. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

The Ops Room, Ground floor 2 bed Apartment

Observatory House is a converted cold war nuclear bunker. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, bedroom 1 has a king sized bed and a double day bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed. The open plan living area consists of a sitting area, kitchen and dining table, pool & Air hockey table, two bathrooms each with WC, shower and hand basin. Pin coded lock box allows flexible self check-in and out so you can come and go as you please. Pets allowed but no cats due to allergies
