Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

I cannot recommend Tina's home highly enough. From booking to checkout, the process was easy and seamless. The home is gorgeous and has everything you need and more. The view cannot be beat. The pool was refreshing after a day out snorkeling or into town or to Caye Caulker. Eva, the house manager, virtually acts as a personal concierge - seeing to everything you could possibly need at the house, tons of contacts for snorkeling, fishing, massages (at the dock) and restaurants. She met us as we docked and was available throughout our stay to ensure a wonderful visit to Belize. As noted in the description, the house is a 25-minute golf cart ride on, at times, an unpaved dirt road. It can be bumpy but overall it's definitely worth it. The beds were comfy, the A/C was a dream, and we cooked a few meals there and found everything we needed. We hated to leave but are grateful for the hospitality and beautiful place to visit. If you're considering a San Pedro visit, this is the place!

Una experiencia inolvidable. Alex y Marcia son personas increíbles, estuvieron atentos desde antes de nuestra llegada, nos dieron recomendaciones excelentes y siempre fueron muy amables. La casa está en un sitio con una tranquilidad total, la playa es hermosa y la casa bastante cómoda.

We had a wonderful stay in Akumal. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids (infant, 3,6) and the place was well set up for our group. The beach was beautiful and so accessible right out the back door, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the outdoor space was so comfortable and inviting. The neighborhood was peaceful and relaxed. There was a portable crib available for the baby. We had chef Carlos come for a few breakfasts and dinners and the food was amazing-such a treat. We visited Akumal Natura Rescue, the Tulum ruins, and Yax-kin cenote, all wonderful and close by. Would highly recommend this place.

An Unforgettable Experience! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house hosted by Sonia and Rene, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sonia, Rene and their exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The property itself is stunning. It is beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Every room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Rene and Sonia for being such wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made our stay truly special. They were always available to provide suggestions and recommendations for our trip. And a special thank you to our Chef Rangel by far best chef I’ve had in all my trips.

Nous étions en famille avec 3 jeunes enfants. La maison est très agréable, sur une plage de sable fin, au calme. Merida est toute proche et offre plusieurs visites intéressantes notamment le musée du monde maya.

Nous avons passé 3 jours fabuleux. La maison est magnifique. Le ponton est très agréable, nous avons pu faire une sortie en cayak très agréable. Dafne nous a très bien accueilli, elle nous a appelé des taxis, donné de bons conseils de restaurants et nous a proposé les services d'une cuisinière qui nous a concocté de délicieux plats mexicains à un prix imbattable. Nous avons pu laisser nos valises à notre arrivée et le jour de notre départ ainsi nous avons pu profiter un peu plus de Bacalar. Merci pour votre accueil.

We loved staying there. Peaceful, quiet, the pristine water lapping Miranda was very helpful in organizing massages and boat tour ... and always responsive within minutes the entire experience was very relaxing ... highly recommend

Miguel’s place is wonderful, it was beyond our expectations and even more beautiful than what we expected. It was all clean and put together, Juan who is the person in charge is great and very helpful. We will be back definitely as we had a very pleasant stay. Just worth notice if you need to get to the little towns surrounding the place I would recommend renting a car. Great great location

Es una casita perfecta para la estancia en Bacalar. 만약 여기서 묵으신다면, 대부분 필요한 것들이 갖춰져 있으니 많은 것을 준비해 갈 필요가 없습니다. 조용하고 아늑한 곳입니다! 3박 4일 동안 정말 잘 지내다 돌아왔습니다.

Excelente alojamiento con acceso a la laguna privado, tienes todas amenidades para pasarla excelente, asador, cocina, mesa, kayak. Muy lindo, regresaremos sin dudarlo.

The Treehouse is such a gem! My only regret is not booking a longer stay. The place is homey, lived in, and the private beach access could not be beat. Rubio, the caretaker, was incredibly attentive and so generous, helping us with the kayaks and always getting us fresh coconuts. It’s a perfect get away and I can’t wait to return!!

We loved our stay at Cristina’s cottage. Perfect little spot for the two of us with a cute rooftop patio. The cottage was very clean and well stocked for our visit. By far the best part though was proximity to the beach, which often felt like our own private beach! We would definitely stay again!

Excelente estadía frente al mar, la cabaña limpia , cómoda , equipada con todo lo que necesitas y mas , climatizada y con el Mobiliario en óptimas condiciones . Fuimos en plan familiar ( incluyendo a nuestra mascota) , la playa tranquila y sin algas , las amenidades incluyeron kayak , sillas y todo lo que necesitas para compartir y disfrutar en familia . Excelente anfrition, con gusto regresaremos en otra oportunidad .

Godfrey communicated with us in advance and arranged pick up from airport to a restaurant (he had a few recommendations) and then being brought from restaurant to the cabin He was very friendly and welcoming The cabin was clean , nice wooden floors, comfortable bed , quite, felt nice with A/C We were able to heat up our breakfast in Mwave and made black coffee

Leo and Brenda were amazing hosts! They truly went over and above to make our stay incredible. Fran’s meals were delicious and Juan and Dalia were super helpful. We pretty much agree with all the other amazing reviews. The road is difficult. We made a point to reserve and confirm an SUV through EasyWay rental car but when we arrived late at night they only had a passenger car that made our trip much more challenging. 100% not an issue with this amazing Airbnb but do yourself a favor and if you are renting a car, triple confirm that is is an SUV. I don't think you will need 4x4 or AWD but you will need the ground clearance of an SUV or similar. Thanks for an amazing stay!

El lugar muy bonito, tiene acceso directo a la laguna, la cabaña pequeña y cómoda con su propio balcón y el trato espectacular además de ser pet friendly, el muelle se comparte con otros huéspedes.

100% recomendado, fue fácil llegar a la casa, la sra. Celia es muy amable y amigable Ami familia y Ami nos gusto mucho el lugar. todo estaba limpio y ordenado sin duda volveríamos ir 😊 y recomiendo mucho la playa costa del sol la comida es deliciosa, el lugar hermoso y limpio.

I really enjoyed my stay here for a few reasons, the first and biggest reason was how great Stacey and her family was. I was coming out there alone and was on edge but Stacey quickly made me feel safe and comfortable. She also made me a great breakfast every morning. Secondly, If you love nature or just want a peaceful, private getaway, this is the place for you. I got to see spider monkeys and kayak on the creek, it was pretty cool. Lastly, The cabin was very clean and modern, and they provided everything you would need— I loved the shower! It was pretty far from everything, and the road getting out there is pretty bumpy so just be prepared for that, but everything else was great. I had maximum peace out there just journaling, reading, chilling, and spending time with Gods beautiful creation.

la habitación es muy grande, con aire acondicionado. el baño es muy grande todo limpio. la ubicación está en la entrada de bacalar, por lo cual en bici o en auto llegas al centro en 5 minutos. su club de playa muy bonito está a pie de la laguna... ahí no tiene restaurante(está cruzando la calle), sin embargo está más padre por qué metes tus bebidas o tus cosas y disfrutas del club sin pagar . te prestan bici y kayak.... quizá lo único sería que lleves tus chaleco salvavidas para que puedas meterte más Agusto a la laguna. pero está muy bonito... la alberca también muy limpia solo que está en la parte del alojamiento ... y el club de playa hay que caminar igual... es pet friendly super amistosos todos y me sentí muy cómodo más por qué respetaron a mis mascotas.... si lo recomiendo...

I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! From the moment we arrived, the experience was beyond magical. The location is unbeatable, the view of the Bacalar Lagoon is absolutely breathtaking, and staying right on the water made it feel like our own private paradise. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of our host. I was planning a surprise birthday celebration for my best friend, and they went above and beyond to make it special. Not only did they help with decorations, but they even went out of their way to buy a cake, flower and anensuring everything was perfect for the occasion. The effort and attention to detail truly made the celebration unforgettable. Beyond the amazing service, the property itself is a dream. Waking up to the stunning turquoise waters, enjoying the peacefulness of the lagoon, and having direct access to swim, kayak, or simply relax by the water, it’s an experience like no other.
