Achill Island : locations de vacances adaptées aux animaux

We were a group of hill walkers who stayed at Rachel’s place over a Bank Holiday weekend. What a fantastic spot, amazing views of the sea in front and Croke Patrick behind. We climbed Croke Patrick on the Saturday and enjoyed a well earned pint of Guinness in Campbell’s on our descent. The next evening we walked to the Tavern and had a delicious meal (great veggie options!). The house was spacious, had everything we needed and we felt instantly at home. Rachel was very accommodating regarding the dates of our booking and communication with her and Louise was friendly and fast. We would definitely do a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at James house - it was clean, comfortable and very cosy! The beds were very comfortable and kitchen perfect for cooking and living in. There was a fire on in the stove when we arrived and made the house so welcoming and cosy. It is in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and Westport only 15 mins away and plenty of restaurants etc in Murrisk only 5 mins away - great base for exploring Mayo and climbing croagh Patrick and as a family of 5 and 2 dogs it was just perfect! We also went in the free Killary harbour cruise that was offered and it was fantastic - highly recommend! James was very friendly and on hand if needed - we would definitely visit again!

This is our second stay at Patricias house. The house is really spacious, clean and well maintained with lots of rooms for family activities. The surroundings are really quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes drive to a few lively areas with good pubs and restaurants. Lots to do in the house and garden, the bikes are an added bonus. We have always found Patricia to be very friendly and helpful, a fantastic host. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Can we give 6 stars?? Orlagh is the most lovely host and gave a lot of useful recommendations, thanks Orlagh for the warm welcome. The place is gorgeous and the view is stunning! There is a walkable loop around that offers incredible views of the land and the sea. It’s just STUNNING and when it’s raining (it’s Ireland after all it has to!) you can snuggle in front of the fire place!! We loved our stay and we will be back - we recommend this place 200%

Rhona is really kind. She is very nice and very helpful. The house is great, clean, quiet. We appreciated everything. If we go back to Ireland, we will probably go back there.

We had a great time in Paddy's very spacious and beautiful house at the lough. We are city dwellers and this was an opportunity for us and the kids (10 and 14) to do something very different. The house is about 3k down a lane which is easy to navigate with a normal car, we had a Duster and that was a plus. From a city dwellers point of view you have to get used to being out in the sticks and everything is a bit of a chore. Shopping, getting around, you are in a pretty remote spot. But that is also the advantage. You are already there. You are in the beauty spot. You can just walk up and down the lane and enjoy the views, the sheep and the mountains. You don't have to go anywhere to see something. It is all around you. Westport is a good place to go to stock up. Paddy was great to communicate with and very pleasant and easy going. If you know your way around fish and loughs and water sports you will get a real kick out of this, we loved it. Great place. Thanks Paddy.

Very clean and well maintained property. The host, Olivia, was very responsive and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a very peaceful and quite long weekend!

Impressionnant. Un enchantement absolu. Mes parents et ma nièce sont tombés amoureux du Cottage et de la région. Richard est très respectueux, extrêmement organisé et Bridget est incroyable, d'une gentillesse et d'une attention inouïe. Nous y reviendrons encore et encore c'est une certitude.

Un alojamiento muy cómodo, estuvimos muy agusto como en casa. Las camas muy cómodas y la cocina con todo lo necesario en un sitio muy agradable y cerca de muchos sitios para ver, sobre todo junto al PN Connemara. Repetiríamos.

Danny's condo is very well laid out and the trails to walk along from his garden were amazing, a particular hit for our two dachshunds running up the hills with us. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice cozy base for exploring the area and will be back when we are next in the area.

We loved our time at AnHaggart. It was very clean and had nice amenities. Walking distance to a gorgeous beach.

fantastic host, fantastic location, beautiful town and everyone was super friendly, house was perfect and situated in a nice quiet location just off the road. 5 min walk to the town centre where there is great night life and restaurants

Petite maison indépendante, située à côté de celle des hôtes, bien équipée et très agréable. Située près du golf de Mulranny, la plage est accessible à pied et l'environnement est magnifique ! Merci à Ciara, nous avons passé un très bon moment chez elle !

Ken’s place was just fabulous! Lovely scenery around, really close to different places. Pity I didn’t get to try out the Pilates class beside us but other than that wow I was just amazed by how nice and cozy the place was! Really was a lovely birthday treat for the both of us. Worth the value as well ☺️ We had a great time exploring Cong, Kylemore Abbey and other places too! Such a cozy vibe to wake up to in the morning. Thank you so much Ken ☺️

We stayed in Ballycroy as part of a large family party. John was always very prompt in answering any questions and very accommodating in dealing with our requests. He sent very clear instructions on how to get to the house and there was a very good manual provided. As we were arriving on Easter Sunday, John hid Easter eggs in a fairy garden on the grounds of the house for the children to find. The house is uniquely designed and crafted and was perfect for our needs. It is situated in a wonderful part of Ireland and the views from it are breathtaking. We had a wonderful time!

I had a fab stay in a yurt at Nicki’s magical place. It absolutely chucked it down and the terrain to and from the yurt was challenging on foot as a result - but Nicki has done a lot to try to mitigate that. If you’re someone who doesn’t have mucky boots or can’t stand a bug or two this isn’t for you - but if you want to get off grid and unwind in a unique and private setting then it’s perfect! We had a lovely spontaneous adventure and can’t wait to come back!

Can't say enough about Carmel's Shepherd hut. The pictures do not do enough justice. An Absolutely beautiful place, very private with your own personal hot tub and BBQ/Campsite. Very aesthetic lighting as well. Definitely recommend this place for short breaks/getaways. Will definitely be visiting again.

we had an amazing stay at Wanderglen, we will be back and for more then one night this time!! we loved every minute of it , wandering in nature. we also loved sitting by our fire pit watching the stars :)

Carmel, was very responsive leading up to check in. Fire was prepared and hot tub warming up upon arrival. excellent tranquil location for a quiet get away. would highly recommend. Hidden gem.

We had a lovely stay. The house is huge, loads of space for our extended family group. We loved that there were 2 large bedrooms on the lower ground level. It meant the grandparents had a more private area for themselves. House is a short stroll to a local shop, coffee shop and pub which does great food! James was a great host and was quick to respond to queries. Would definitely book again!

Very cozy need more than one night to enjoy everything A break from electronics just what was needed Absolutely love how dogs are allowed my German shepherd had the time of her life.she was crying when we were packing up to leave 😕 I will be coming back as soon as possible The cabin was so comfortable and spacious the candles really made the cozy look at night couldn’t be happier with our stay 🙂
