Only a couple of minutes walk from the house there is the "Love Bay" one of the islands most beautiful and well organized beaches. Το διατηρητέο, λιθόκτιστο, πλατυμέτωπο (καπετανέικο) “κόκκινο σπίτι” του καπετάν-Ρίζου, καραβοκύρη της εποχής, δεσπόζει στο κανάλι του Πόρου από το 1851 και έχει φτάσει πλέον στην 6η γενιά της οικογένειας. Ένα σπίτι γεμάτο ιστορία και αναμνήσεις που έχουν μείνει ζωντανές από γενιά σε γενιά. Στο σπίτι αυτό πέρασε καλοκαίρια της ζωής του και ο ποιητής Κωστής Παλαμάς.
