Pet-friendly, backing onto forest trails, and near Albury/Wodonga with its shops, restaurants and cinemas, as well as historical Yackandandah and Beechworth, it's a must for those who love to walk, run, bike, ski or simply explore or relax - like us!

Backyard bungalow near hospital

Our backyard offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Wodonga. The bungalow is cosy with its own bathroom and private courtyard where you can either hide from the world or use it as a base to explore the region. The enclosed backyard is safe for pets and small children. Please note that our place is popular with pet owners, and although I clean thoroughly, some guests have complained about a general smell of dogs. If you are sensitive to this, you may want to consider booking elsewhere.

Perfect for those visiting for work, ideal for single travellers, two couples, a small family or a few friends meeting for a mini-break. A 5 minute walk to Dean Street where you'll find a diverse range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Ideally situated within 500 metres of the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Just moments from Central Albury, with the airport 2 km away, Brightside offers you a quiet, clean place to relax during both short and longer stays. A quick 4 minute walk away, you will find local amenities including a supermarket, chemist, newsagent and butcher, a pub and restaurants serving delicious meals. Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and Alexandra Parks are both walking distance.

The unit has a private entry, with sensor lighting for night entry. Located close to supermarkets, shopping areas and only 15 minutes from Albury, 38klms from Beechworth and 1 hour from Mount Beauty. Very quiet area.

The Cottage makes a great base to explore Historical Chiltern and the surrounding regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Yackandandah and Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park. Nestled behind the National Trust listed Post Office in Chiltern’s Historic Precinct, The Linesman’s Cottage has retained its rustic exterior, while the interior has been transformed into stylish and modern guest accommodation.
