A 5 minutes walk down the track (a little challenging coming back up) You are in a quiet peaceful area, within walking distance of the Co-Op, Post Office, Chemist, Butchers, 2 cafes, and 2 Pubs. Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

This former farmer's cottage situated in Northumberland National Park has recently been totally refurbished. We also have a smaller cottage next door, which is listed separately on Airbnb, if you have a large party of guests wishing to get away from it all! About 1.5 miles from Hadrians Wall and around 4 miles from the local town of Haltwhistle which is merited with being the Centre of Britain. We are a fully working farm, around a 1000 acres, and have cows and sheep.

This cottage has been refurbished to the highest standard and was designed specifically for the holiday rental market with Hadrians wall on our door step. On street parking is free and there is a patio area to the rear of the property which is ideal for a sunny day.
