It was a lovely week with the weather to match. The house is very special and beautifully clean and comfortable. Plenty to visit locally and further afield. It was a totally lovely week and would highly recommend the house to friends and family. Shirley made sure all was OK and we had settled in with no problems. It has been absolutely trouble free and will definitely book this home if we visit the area again. The information supplied by Shirley before the holiday and after we arrived was greatly appreciated as was the welcome pack.

Lovely cute cottage style house with absolutely everything you could need. We stayed with 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog and it still felt very spacious but also cosy and warm. A few mins walk to shops and restaurants etc but felt more remote and was very peaceful. A good playpark for kids and big grassy fields attached for the dog to play max 5 mins walk away was handy too. A few mins walk from the start of a lot of the trails at the river. Great place!

What a beautiful spot! I was content never to move from the garden, although my co -travellers would probably have had something to say about it. Samantha was fantastically accommodating to our requests re when we could check in and out and length of stay. The house is perfect for a couple of families - so much space and set out in a way that you can get away from everyone, should you need to. Everything was there that you needed, beds were comfy, everything was easy to use and the living spaces were all very relaxing. Wildlife galore to be seen with your morning coffee. There are lovely walks to be had from your doorstep, and The Bridge of Cally Pub and shop are a short walk along the road. Balnabea is perfectly situated for exploring Perthshire - ours was a short break away, but as usual Scotland delivers in making you feel you've been away for double the length of time. We recommend The Hermitage and Dunkeld. We loved it so much we wanted to make it our annual retreat.

Don’t hesitate to book this absolute gem!! So close to Edinburgh and yet the pristine surroundings made us feel like we were in another world. Fabulously well-stocked cottage with everything we needed, almost sad it was too warm to light the fire! Incredibly cute decor, would love to return.

Lewis was super helpful and the house was great and really well stocked. We loved the garden and it was enclosed and safe for the kids. We had a great time, thank you

Lovely family break with 14 of us and a happy dog coming and going throughout the week. Great accommodation for wee ones and adults alike. The games room went down a treat As did the hot tub with the more adventurous family members and the two sitting areas and dinning room and kitchen were great to meet everyone’s needs. The house was clean well catered for and great grounds. Would highly recommend and one for us for the future again.

We had a lovely stay at Wilma & John's. Waterside is a lovely spacious house in a beautiful location, it's just a short walk to the local restaurants, bars, shops, Broughty Castle and beach.

We had such a lovely relaxing long weekend here. The area is very picturesque and ideal for walking. We took our dog and there were plenty of dog friendly places to visit. (The garden is also fully enclosed.)

Great value for money and place was spotless. It’s in a good spot for exploring the beautiful area. Parking was easy and secure. Good communication and nice little breakfast welcome pack on arrival.

Spent a few days over the new year period ....flat was very comfortable and in a great location for local bars and restaurants ....

Comfortable and homely. A great view across Angus countryside and hills from the upstairs lounge. A superb base for reaching Angus, Dundee, Perth and beyond.

Près du transport en commun, il y a tout ce qu’il faut, nous avons eu un problème avec la laveuse, on nous a proposé une solution immédiatement, une grande aide et tout à été pour le mieux. Très satisfaites.

Another great stay! Margarita is a brilliant host who responds so quickly and is very friendly. Clear instructions lead to a brilliant quick check in experience. The apartment is just so clean with everything you could want for your stay. Its an amazing location so close to the sea and the cliffs and the town is easy walking distance. Nothing bad to stay and hope to return soon!

The apartment is very attractive and was spotlessly clean. The overview of the harbour from the balcony provides lots of interest with the comings and goings of the local fishing boats. Central location is convenient for Arbroath amenities, and other Angus destinations are in easy reach. Very much recommended and hope to get back up soon.

As a family with children aged 4 & 6yrs we’ve stayed here before and we’ll plan to stay again. Feels like you’re on holiday as soon as you walk in the door.

Fantastic stay here in a property that is a credit to the owners. Spotless clean, comfortable and peaceful with a quiet night’s sleep. We dropped on at a time of sunny warm weather so Broughty Ferry and the beach were very busy so parking was understandably at a premium. We parked a few streets away but were able to move the car to near the house in the evening. Would definitely book again next time we’re up visiting family.

We had a fantastic few days staying in Sharon's apartment, we loved everything about it! The location was great, very quiet but not too far from restaurants, shops, bars...and the beach!!! Everything was there that we needed and was very much home from home. The added touch of providing the wee treats was a very nice thought. I loved how bright the lounge area was with the beautiful big windows as well as all the lovely furniture...I know how difficult it is to collect these pieces and seeing every room styled in this way was lovely

We loved the location of the flat and the ability to sit outside. It was very comfortable and everything was provided to make our stay comfortable....and a few little extras. Ground floor and east access is important and met our needs. Gemma's communications were very friendly and helpful.We would recommend this wee place for a wee stay.

Had a great stay, the place was very clean and more than I had expected, it was walkable to the shops and eateries and just very central to everything I needed, it is extremely well stocked had everything we needed was like being at home, will definitely stay there again when we are next in Montrose thank you for letting us stay hopefully be there again soon.

Megan was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The place was great as a stayover for me and my grandad. Exactly as described and looked great. Parking and stairs access was a little tricky as my grandad isn't so steady on his feet but we managed. It was situated very close by to Broughty Ferry and Monifieth giving us easy access to shops, resturants and visiting my family. All in all a very nice place to stay.

We stayed there for 5 nights , we really enjoyed . It felt like we are at home. Airbnb was clean . Surrounding are beautiful , walkable and peaceful.

Warm and welcoming apartment in a great location over looking the park with plenty of free parking. The flat is well equipped and as everything you would need for your stay. The host communicated well before, during and after the booking. Would recommend and would stay again.
