My guesthouse is a few blocks from the Arcata plaza, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, art and culture. It is a 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute drive to scenic Trinidad and you can walk or bike to the marsh. You’ll love my place because it is near the heart of Arcata. Everything is at your fingertips. A couple blocks off the plaza means you will get the access without all the noise; a great combo. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Perched just above the Bay where the evening sunsets bring peace and tranquility. Leave the car behind and head over to see the redwoods & trails at Redwood Park, the eclectic Arcata Plaza Farmers Market, Crabs & Cal Poly Humboldt. Hop in the car to see the dramatic Trinidad coastline, Ave of the Giants and local rivers! After a day of exploring rest well in your home away from home, fresh and clean, stylishly appointed, full kitchen, separate bedroom, outdoor seating and views of the bay.

Finished in 2023, this contemporary construction overlooks Humboldt Bay and is at the center of our vibrant community. It is just blocks from the Arcata Plaza, Cal Poly Humboldt, Arcata Community Forest, Redwood Park and the Humboldt Crabs Baseball field. Go Crabbies! From the deck of this one bedroom architecturally modern space, beautiful bayfront sunsets can be enjoyed. Arcata is a very pedestrian friendly, small town. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place.

Located in what locals call Northtown, our Arcata home is a perfectly situated home base. You will find several eateries, cafes and a natural food grocery store all within a two block walk. You can access the two bridges over to the Cal Poly Humboldt campus a few blocks away and just beyond campus is the Arcata Community Forest with towering redwoods. Downtown Arcata is just a seven minute walk down the hill where you will find more restaurants and unique shops on the plaza.

Welcome to our secluded grotto surrounded by Redwoods! This modern and quiet space will be a perfect respite for the many reasons you may be coming to Humboldt. Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Walking distance to the Majestic Arcata Community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt. As Arcata natives, we wanted to bring you a unique and unforgettable Humboldt experience.

Ideal location, blocks to Plaza and local forest

A large, open modern, one bedroom studio apartment on the ground floor of a Victorian. There's a stream of activity on the street, walking and biking. It's a swell, safe neighborhood with professors, students, families. Outside the apartment door you may enjoy coffee or a cocktail at the garden table. The kitchen is complete and part of the living room, which works well for groups, with the counter island, futon sofa, lounge chair, and kitchen table with chairs.

Charming Cottage in the Heart of Arcata

Our restored, historic cottage is at the center of our vibrant community. Just two blocks from the Plaza and in close walking distance (5 minutes or less) to the best farmers' market, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, a creperie, an excellent independent movie theater, an art store, record and book stores, and within a 10-15 minute walk to Redwood Park and the Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary. This bright, cozy cottage is truly in the heart of downtown Arcata. Come stay!

Modern Mini Downtown Arcata Guest House

Cozy, bright, and intimate 1-bedroom tiny house with private outdoor area. Don't be fooled by her 264-square-foot size. Mini packs comfort in all the right places. Equipped to host just two optimally, but up to four guests — it has a queen bed in the snug bedroom, and a double (full-size) sofa bed in the living area. Our garage makeover project created a home with a small footprint but big on style. Blocks to the Arcata Plaza, near shopping, dining & bars.

The property is in a redwood forest with a good size meadow for sunshine and flowers. It's a great base camp for exploring the beautiful beaches, Redwood forest and local cities of Trinidad and Arcata. Maximum 3 guests, or 4 guests if one or more guests are under 12.
