A fabulous stay of five days - made even better by a spell of great weather and wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful and varied beaches all nearby, from Waipu through to Te Arai. Accommodation layout perfect for family, children and grandparents allowing a bit of separation. Peaceful & private location. Well equipped. Lovely high ceiling living space with excellent indoor/outdoor area. Minor access issue caused by 3 year old swiftly fixed by Sarah with the minimum of fuss, for which we were very grateful.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and the house is very clean and neat. We had fun hiking up to Paku, which is easily accessible via a trail right next to the house. The shovel for Hot Water Beach was a bonus!

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. Our family really loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and quiet… the house has homey feel and a hour drive from the beautiful beaches, we loved that the cows were right outside our fence, lots to enjoy! Thank you !

Perfect little weekend getaway for my husband and toddler(2). The house was a great size and we thoroughly enjoyed the indoor fire with the cold rain outside! We visited nearby Crystal Mountain & Kiwi Valley- great places for the kids.

Suzy’s place is warm, cozy and inviting and just what we needed on the rainy days we had. The house is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the pizza oven despite less than ideal outdoor conditions. The photos don’t do the spaces justice! We loved our stay!

Absolutely beautiful house, we had a great stay at Fiona's place! It's a great location too, it was lovely being able to walk down to the beach. Everything is as listed and looks like the photos, would definitely recommend to other guests.

The perfect base for a few days exploring the Āwhitu Penninsula. Spotlessly clean and great communication. The view is spectacular- next time I want to try the spa!

Myself, my mother and my 4 year old daughter stayed at Amy’s. The place was perfect and we appreciated the little touches - my daughter especially enjoyed the chocolate on her pillow 😆. The place was private, the kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Amy and Clare!

A comfy and cosy stay for a weekend away. Very handy to Eden Park which is one of the reason’s we booked Cathie’s place. Everything you need is either walking distance or a short drive. We appreciated the little touches - chocolate left on our towels, water, coffee, teas, almond butter to name a few. A wonderfully put together information booklet with local recommendations. Cathie was very responsive and accommodating.

We absolutely loved staying at Vanessa’s place. We spent the last nights of our NZ trip there and were able to host my family for dinner. This is such a beautiful space and would definitely stay again next time we are in Auckland.

Fabulous host - clean apartment and very well stocked

Peter’s AirBNB is gorgeous and well stocked. He was friendly, responsive, and on premise much of our stay (which is a private section of his home), but also great about giving us privacy. We especially enjoyed the pool and charming garden spaces - as well as the breakfast food and tea/coffee provided. A few notes that weren’t fully clear to me before arriving: >Washer is on site but generally not for guest use (though we got the OK to do a couple loads when we asked) > There is no living room or indoor common area of the Airbnb space. > There are gorgeous outdoor spaces with shade covering to enjoy for meals at home - but only bedroom/hallway space available indoors for “hang out space” > The Rotary walk area is easily accessible from this space - and the views are even better than the pictures :)

Thank you for great stay! Ali's place is cozy and peaceful, and there is much more to it than what is listed on AirBnB. Ali is a friendly and responsive host, and was very helpful in providing recommendations for local coffee shops and cafes when I asked about it. Furthermore, Ali was very generous in allowing early check-in and late check-out based on what I needed. There are beautiful beaches nearby to visit, with some cafes and restaurants overlooking the ocean. Definitely consider booking Ali's place when you are looking for peaceful stay in East Auckland.

Our stay at Tui & Nikau was beautiful. The place is so serene, private, and peaceful, and the accommodation had everything we needed and more. The hosts were super helpful and made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!

Beautiful surroundings, great accommodation and very friendly host. They provided some nice little extras, heated towels and farm fresh eggs for breakfast (available when the chickens cooperate).

We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

The most peaceful beautiful stay for our anniversary. What made it even special was it being dog friendly!! Our pup just LOVED swimming in the creek and hiking to the waterfall (swimming there too haha). We all had the best time and are already planning our return. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a beautiful location with pretty surrounds including rows of lavender, calves and an avocado orchard. The cottage itself is a real gem with natural timbers, high quality bedding, lovely cotton robes and everything you need. Its decorated with an elegant and minamailst style. Our hosts go above and beyond with providing fruit and breakfast and other little treats like chocolate. It has a relaxed feel here and we felt the wow factor when entering. Thanks so much, will return for sure. Sue is a kind host who is helpful and was accommodating with our needs.
