The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

A perfect stopping point on your tour of the wonderful Highlands of Scotland and all they have to offer. Easy access for golf, distilleries, walking, cycling or the world renowned North Coast 500 Highland Route. A place to just stop and take 5 while you spend a few days exploring the local areas around on the Route, or to just have a quiet rest. Alness town's pretty high street has won Scottish Champion in the British High Street Awards 2018, and Scotland and Britain in Bloom several times.

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. This comfortable semi-detached cottage is located next to the owner's home in a tranquil woodland garden surrounded by stunning Highland scenery. The cottage is exceptionally well placed for touring the North Coast 500 route and the scenic Cromarty Firth area. The cottage is just a few miles away from the famous Ardross castle, where 'The Traitors' is filmed. The cottage is in a rural location with the nearest town being 5 miles away, so having your own transport is essential.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
