When we first stumbled upon this house, it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Babbie was the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The house was just fabulous! The sunsets from the balcony were excellent and the location incredible. Babbie had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. She went above and beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Andy was wonderful to work with. There were some maintenance issues that he got on top of and handled. Really appreciate his help especially with a houseful of people at Christmas. Great to work with.

We had a wonderful time! The beach is right there and wasn’t crowded at all. The house was clean and the accommodations nice. The bed was comfortable as well. This was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. Thank you for the hospitality and sharing your house! We would definitely book again.

A delightful, peaceful, beachy home with a great view of the lagoon, wildlife on the water, awesome pool, and amazing responses from the host, Brad, to any concerns or questions we may have. Would definitely look forward to another opportunity to spend time there.

our host was always responsive to any questions and feedback. we loved all of the extra amenities at this location. We used the kayaks, bodies boards, chairs, fishing poles, crab pots and casting net. we loved every minute we were there.

If you are looking for a homey, comfortable place to hang out with friends and family and head out to the beach or Fairhope, this is ideal. The outside appearance could use some help, but wow, the inside is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Charlotte was super responsive and I cannot wait to rebook again. The dock and deck in the bay is a perfect place to just cool down and be quiet. Just a great place to relax and re-energize.

By far the best Airbnb we've ever had and one of the best vacations we've had. The house is fully equipped, incredibly well-maintained, and the location is a dream. The evenings on the veranda were absolutely stunning. The absolute highlight, however, are the hosts. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Jen, but Dave gave us a really warm welcome and was always there for us during our stay. Honestly, we're so grateful to have met Dave—he's a truly wonderful person. Thank you so much for this absolutely fantastic time—we'll be back :)!

Toes in the water was lovely. The windows throughout the property all let in beautiful light and produce a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The balcony off the living space had great views - just like on the photos. There was tonnes of room for all seven of us - and yet we still felt like we were hanging out without being on top of each other. Would definitely recommend and will go back if we are in the area.

I don't usually write reviews but just had to say what a wonderful time we had at Hammock hideaway.i was pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of this 870 sq ft cabin which was beautifully designed and comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area with morning coffee on front porch and evenings sitting on screened in backporch overlooking the creek with its birds, fish and wildlife .Exploring the surrounding areas which included small town of Elberta which has some amazing places to eat like MJ grill and Shrimp box. Elberta Grocery not only offers groceries but plate lunches but some tasty stuffed pork chops which we enjoyed cooking back at the hideaway.We spent a morning at barber marina exploring Bamahenge (small replica of Stonehenge), Dinosaurs IN THE WOODS, to the lady in the lake. The hideaway is close enough to the beaches for us to do shopping ,enjoy the sand/surf and have a drink watching the waves then back to the peace and quiet of the hideaway. Thanks Rowena

We had a great time on our 6 day vacation at Mona's. The house was so cozy and also very clean. I really enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck and getting our daily visits from Hank and the other pups. One of the friendliest dogs I've ever met. We were just a short drive to the beach and got to bring home some shells. There were lots to do and see downtown and the restaurants were great. We plan on coming back next year. Thank you Mona and Dennis!

Charming little cottage, right on the river. It was very clean and comfortable. My sister and her husband saw a school of dolphins jumping in the river while kayaking! We would definitely stay there again:)

Absolutely loved this stay! The pictures do not do it justice, it was beautiful! The house smelled and looked great right when we stepped in. Meredith was such a great host! Super responsive before and throughout our stay! She went above and beyond for our stay this weekend! I would 100% book again! This stay was amazing and I was so sad to leave. Located by the magnolia River in the headwaters. We stayed in late March, which is peak azalea season. The neighborhood in bloom may be the most beautiful location I have ever stayed in. The house is great. It feels comfortable. It is private.

Their place was Awesome very clean and well decorated and such great views and Beautiful Sunsets and so peaceful ! We didn't want to leave ! Daniel and Juli were very responsive and extremely nice and helpful with our questions ! The beds were very comfortable! my husband is very picky and he was a happy camper ! Loved this home ! And it really was home !!

Responded quickly to all questions and was very helpful. Place was very clean and a pleasant stay. Would stay here again.

This is our second stay - 2021 and 2025! There are no words to describe the beautiful view!!! Sunsets that are truly picture perfect. Evening walks on the pier while watching the dolphins. And there are times you cannot tell where the water ends and the sky begins. There have been improvements since we were there 2021 and they are great. If you are looking for a place to relax, reflect and just enjoy.....this is it. A true GEM!!

Wonderful pet friendly place to stay. Quiet and peaceful but close proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Johns place was amazing! We caught some good fish off the pier and it was very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend it and we will be back😎

We enjoyed our stay at the Joe's fish camp and it was central to the events that we attended. The place was exactly as described. The enclosed back porch and dock were a great place to hangout and view the birds and wildlife in the area... very peaceful and quiet!

Sues place was wonderful , everything is well kept and clean ,location was close to everything, I will stay here again .

Stayed here while evacuating from Hurricane Milton. Check-In process was super straight forward, the hosts were very understanding of our situation and allowed us to check in early after we drove 8 hours from the Tampa area! The cabin was charming and relaxing. Good internet and environment to get some work done. Plenty of activities to do on-site. Great views of the water! We were even able to use the kayaks at the stay. The fishing was great too, we were able to catch over 45 fish in the 3 days we were there. While there was plenty of stuff to do on-site, everything you need is within 5-10. The beach and great restaurants are super close. Definitely will be coming back under different circumstances!
