Our charming, spacious, one bedroom cottage with exposed stone wall and open fire has a true highland feel, along with an in door hot tub room. Just a stone throw away from the river Don and the 300 yold Poldullie bridge also central to whisky trails & castles. Two well-behaved dogs welcome by request. We ask you do not to leave them on their own, and they must be kept on a short lead and not an extendable one while on our property. We are a licensed premises and only permit 18s and over.

Hayfield Cottage

Hayfield Cottage is a category C listed cottage built in approx. 1850, and fully renovated between 2015 and 2017. It is located on Auchendryne Square in Braemar, a few hundred yards from The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park where the annual Braemar Gathering takes place. Hayfield Cottage is fully insulated and centrally heated. The two wood burning stoves aren't needed to keep the house warm and cosy, but they can be a welcome addition in the winter.

Thornbank is a snug and simple timber built holiday cottage in the heart of the village of Braemar.  Paragliding, mountain biking, skiing, walking or perhaps a relaxing holiday at one with nature?  Here you can indulge in all the activities that the Upper Dee Valley and Cairngorms National Park have to offer, then return to a cosy hearth and home. We are located in the centre of the village, but set back behind the road in a quiet spot with woods to the rear.
