Ideal base for visiting Leeds, York, Wetherby and Knaresborough (20 mins by car). Plus the Yorkshire Dales, East Coast / North East with excellent close public transport links to these places. Barwick has 3 country pubs, a cafe, an excellent Italian/Pizza takeaway, a newsagent, general store/post office, gift shop, ladies boutique, nearby golf course, farm shop.

A beautiful 2 bedroomed bungalow set in the historic, pretty village of Barwick in Elmet, which boasts the tallest maypole in Britain. Within easy reach of Leeds, York & Harrogate. The village has 3 traditional pubs. Withing 2 miles of Garforth & Crossgates which have train stations. There are lots of public footpaths from the village and a pretty dog walk opposite the house. The Bungalow is non moulting dog friendly -up to 2, but 'Never' unattended & a strict no smoking policy anywhere.

Totally private with its own access from the driveway with parking for one vehicle. I live to the rear of the annex so am on hand to sort out any problems that may arise through out your stay .

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.

Enjoy staying at our charming Georgian cottage in leafy Roundhay, a 10 minute car ride from the centre of Leeds. There are original features, a wood burning stove, Aga and is within walking distance of Roundhay Park, cafes, bars and restaurants. There will be tea and coffee making facilities, milk in the fridge and fresh linen and towels for you! We hope you find it comfortable, stylish and well equipped! We consider longer lets too!

The Gables is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
