The Prairie Home

Settled far out in the Tallgrass Prairie of the Flint Hills, the Prairie Home provides wide and endless views from a private hilltop. All rooms in the home, which was built by local craftsmen from native limestone blocks, have huge windows which frame the natural art of the prairie. Handmade woodwork complements the extensive interior stonework. The soaring ceilings provide a backdrop for original art collected by the owners. And everywhere you look, the setting will take your breath away.

The Lark Inn at FoxHollow

The home is very comfy and great for a long term stay as we have a washer and dryer available. There is a basement with access from the interior for safety during storms if needed. The patio is very secluded and great for outdoor dining; a charcoal grill is provided. In the Sunroom there is a desk and chair and great wifi service. Comfortable for four guests but can accommodate up to 6 guests. (bedroom has a king size bed, sunroom has two twins and sofa fold out into a queen size bed)

This space is located in the lower level of a commercial office building that has recently been re-purposed as a guest friendly temp-stay unit with kitchenette. A countryside home, our modern 1200 square foot cabin near Emporia, KS features 2 bedrooms (king/queen), 2 baths, spacious living room, all new appliances, full kitchen, laundry room and more on a 46-acre, secluded farm. The covered front porch overlooks a farm field and timber. Walk our trails and skip rocks in Hill Creek. Enjoy the gas grill and fire pit. Or jump on the Flint Hills Nature Trail - one of the longest rail trails in the US and a favorite for hiking and biking.

The "Church" Guesthouse

Come to church this weekend . . . The Church Guesthouse in Cottonwood Falls that is! The Church is an artfully revitalized Presbyterian Church built in 1885 which now has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths and will sleep up to 10 adults. Two of the bedrooms ( with queen beds) are downstairs along with a bath and a half downstairs. 2 bedrooms are upstairs (two twins and one with a full size bed) the loft has two twins with a full bath upstairs. Parties and events are not allowed.
