Beckside Lodge Howgill

Situated in the heart of the Howgills on a working family farm, an ideal get away from it all. With fantastic views and a great base to further explore the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and the dark night skies. With its two king sized bedrooms which can be split into singles and double sofa bed, this makes a great getaway for friends or family. Or a romantic getaway for two. Fully equipped kitchen, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Private wc and shower block located next to the lodge.

The space The studio, is set within a newly converted barn, with its own entrance on the quiet edge of the Lake District, a few steps from a wood-fired sauna and a wild swimming pool. Modern, serene and quietly luxurious, perfect for a couple or up to three friends as a mini retreat. It can also comfortably accommodate a family of four. A twin double bed, a sofa bed, a dining area, a deep bath in the en-suite bathroom, light cooking facilities., parking and easy access into the Lakes.

The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

This recently renovated barn is in a country setting a mile from Orton village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National park. Approx 5 minutes from J38 &39 of M6, in easy reach of Orton village’s amenities of pub, cafe, shop, chocolate factory and local farm shop. Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

My property is good for family gatherings, hen/stag parties and large birthday celebrations. Children and pets are welcome. The surrounding towns of Sedbergh and Kendal have lots to offer from restaurants, bars, independent coffee shops and boutique stores. Kirkby Lonsdale is a short drive.

With its double bed and double sofa bed, it's perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or for a family with up to 2 children. There is a fully equipped kitchenette,  ensuite bathroom, outdoor dining, firepit, bbq, swinging seat and covered outdoor bath ( big enough for 2!)
