This luxury hand crafted pod is exclusively available for your use, including a double bed, sofa bed, kitchen, dining area, ensuite shower room, private patio, outdoor seating and firepit/BBQ.

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Bumble Cottage - Sedbergh (19 miles to Windermere)

Bumble Cottage is a recently renovated semi-detached barn conversion. The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from the main street in Sedbergh village and the Yorkshire Dales Way is right outside the front door. It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type. Located at the end of a narrow track, it is surrounded by woodland, fields and two streams. The open plan, rustic style suits couples, small groups and some families, and is ideal as a base for outdoor activities. A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.

The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.
