The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

Cozy Corners

Cozy Corners, built in 1945, offers approximately 900 sq. ft. You, my guests, are recipients of the wall verses that I put on the walls while I was living there, before I knew the house's future occupation. Due to my personal life style and choices, I do not provide TV, but I am now offering WiFi. Pets (pet fee applies) and children are welcome, but no additional supplies are provided at this time. A Ring doorbell monitors both outside doors. Come enjoy my favorite home town known as mural city.

Log Cabin at Meramec Farm

A warm, pine honeymoon cabin surrounded by pastoral Ozark countryside. The Meramec River flows through this seventh generation family farm. Cozy interior includes a kitchenette, dining area, and double bed on main level. All your cooking intensils are provided with coffee, tea, and paper products. DVDs and books available await you up the spiral staircase in the loft. Full bed on main level and two singles bed upstairs. Expansive view from your front porch of the highest bluffs on the Meramec.

Secluded "Heaven": soaker tub, sauna, sunset view

"Heaven" ( 1,512 sq ft, 7 ac) sits on a bluff overlooking the Osage river. An open home with huge full length windows and a sun room provides abundant natural lighting. Two porches offer views over the river and to the woods. A soaker tub and sauna are situated in the cabin with a view to the sunset. The cabin is at the end of a secluded forest road. A locked garage is available for parking small cars. Drive: 15-20 min to Linn for supplies / 30 min to Jeff City / 5 min to public river access.

Charming Victorian

The furnishings are Victorian-modern and beautifully accent the high ceilings, tall windows, and lovely wood trim throughout the home. After enjoying the beautiful outdoors, curl up in front of a toasty fire, and watch your 55" Roku Smart TV (be sure to bring your login information for your favorite streaming apps!). Apartment B is a comfortable 1 bedroom ground floor hideaway apartment, accessed from your own private off-street entry. 560sf unit completely renovated with new appliances, windows, and the restoration of original floors, millwork, and ceilings. The unit retains the building's historical 1907 charm and warmth, with the amenities and comforts we expect in the modern world.

Modern Country Farm House with beautiful views

Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Located just 6 miles south of Owensville, Mo this newly renovated farm house will provide you the countryside escape you have been looking for with no shortage of amenities. This 2 story farm house was originally constructed in 1888 as a multi family boarding house before the Kreter family purchased it in the 1930’s. In 2021 we made the decision to completely restore the house and bring it to its modern day glory.
