Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. Our very popular 400 years old farmhouse has many modern features, including slate floors, wood burning stove, central heating, powerful shower etc. All rooms have character with wonky walls and oak beams. There are two beautiful private mature gardens with two large monkey puzzle trees .Patios with chairs and tables for bbq and sunbathing. Plenty of room for children to play. There are many wonderful walks available straight from our front door.

Ideally situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and within easy reach of the Lakes. The cottage is full of character and in the perfect location for walkers, cyclists/motorcyclists, or those simply wishing to relax in a peaceful countryside setting. Guests have private use of the whole cottage, divorced front garden and patio, secure garage and parking area.

Spinney Cottage, Pateley Bridge

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Apple tree cottage has recently been refurbished with modern interiors and super fast broadband. A self catering cottage with its own small garden and driveway, set in bucolic countryside. Able to accommodate 3 guests (3rd guest with an additional charge) with a unique 'reading nook' which can be made into a small single bed for a young child. Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.

The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.
