Puffin pod has a private patio with spectacular mountain views. Ideal for bird watchers, golfers and nature lovers. The Pod is a ten-minute walk from scenic Sango Beach and the centre of Durness village. Two miles from the superb 9-hole Durness Golf Course and a five-minute walk from Smoo Cave.

Cozy Bettyhill Bungalow, NC500. Amazing sea views

This home away from home is located in the village of Bettyhill. It offers views to the River Naver, Torrisdale Bay and the headland beyond. Tastefully decorated and furnished, it will make an excellent stop on your adventure along the NC500. It boasts wheelchair friendly access. There is a king sized bed in the main bedroom, bunk bed in the second bedroom, lounge, kitchen and wet room bathroom for your exclusive use during your stay. The property has a ocean view garden with grassy lawn.

The Steading, Melvich

This converted building in the picturesque village of Melvich has been recently renovated and has amazing sea views including the Orkney islands! Offering WiFi, television, and off-road parking for one car. Also, with the new addition of a woodburning stove, you will certainly not be cold! Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!

Northern Lights - Sea View Cottage near NC500

Northern Lights is a former croft cottage in an outstanding location just off the North Coast 500. When you arrive, you will appreciate the ample private parking and electric vehicle charger. The attention to detail continues as you settle in for your stay, with everything designed to give you the best possible accommodation. Because we always try to exceed your expectations, you will love how fast the Wi-Fi is. Character, comfort, and connected when you need it.

The Wee Housie

A warm welcome, always, awaits you at our family ran apartment. There is a 2 ceramic hob rings with microwave oven, giving you the option to either eat out or have a cosy meal in. Ensuite bathroom, tv, double sofa bed and a single bed. Linen and towels provided. We are dog friendly but due to the small space this is at our discretion but please enquire prior to booking. We accommodate two people maximum with the choice of a sofa bed and/or single bed.

Croft View

Fully equipped accommodation with two bedrooms (one double room, one twin room). Melvich is situated on the NC500 route and is ideally placed for exploring the local area. Local pub within walking distance serving evening meals. Booking is advised. Free Wifi available, however we cannot guarantee a reliable signal. Lovely beach nearby which is popular with surfers. Please note due to increased costs, guest now have to pay for the electric they use.

The Byre - stone studio space, Talmine NC500/Beach

The Byre is a unique studio converted from a barn and is perfect for a peaceful break or romantic getaway! A comfortable hotel quality double mattress in self catering accommodation with stunning views of the sea and islands and within easy walk of a shop and beaches. A small but well equipped kitchenette with microwave, induction hob and small oven. Plenty of hot water for showering. A woodburner and 2 heaters. Great location as a base to explore.

Welcome to my 17th-century original working croft cottage. Set in the stunning Highlands, directly on the NC500 in the small rural village of Melvich. Just a short walk from Melvich beach great for swimming, fishing, surfing, or just a gentle stroll along the beach, a truly beautiful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. The cottage whilst boasting all modern amenities still keeps a lot of its original features.
