The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Comfortable 2 bedrooms ground floor flat with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen (electric hob, compact fridge and microwave) and some lovely views to Carn Bren and Kyle of Sutherland. Central electric heating and shower, Wi-Fi, smart tv with options to connect to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Main bedroom has a double bed and second bedroom has a single bed that opens into a twin bed, please note these are attached and can’t be separated.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome. With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

Enjoy the glorious Highland scenery and sample the local whiskies from this quirky little stone built cottage. Set across the road from a working farm, you'll be able to enjoy seeing the livestock grazing against the glorious backdrop of the Kyle of Sutherland. The cottage itself is over 100 years old and retains many of its original features - the panelling, doors, fireplaces and fixtures, giving a timewarp sensation to your stay.
