Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

Taigh Aosd

Come stay in our newly renovated traditional croft house, An Taigh Aosd, which is the gaelic for The Old House, Originally built in 1939. Our house is located in Breasclete which is a very central location on the island, we are less than 2 miles from the Callanish stones and a 10 minute drive to the beach. An Taigh Aosd has 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen and a cosy sitting room with a stove. There is also a secret room if you manage to find it.

Riverview Cottage, centrally situated for touring.

Riverview Cottage is a comfortable home from home from which to enjoy your holiday. It is centrally situated on the island in the village of Breasclete and is a 5 minute drive from the famous Callanish Standing Stones or alternatively approximately a 40'minute walk. We are confident you will enjoy your stay in the cottage. It is a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The cottage boasts spectacular views looking on to Loch Roag and the Uig hills.
