Jonkmanshof @20 Bath - Suite 1

Jonkmanshof is a beautifully-restored Cape Dutch heritage house built in 1854 in the small, picturesque town of Montagu. It is the oldest inhabited house in the town. Jonkmanshof - 20 Bath was recently featured by Condé Nast Traveller as the coolest farmhouse to rent in South Africa and is also featured in the Elle Decoration, France. Afri-Art B&B

A light, airy private room which offers parking at the door, a private patio and private entrance. This unit has a bathroom, a good shower, kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Provided is tea, coffee, coffee plunger for filter coffee, milk and sugar. UPS (uninterrupted power supply) for WIFI during loadshedding. It is a few minutes drive from the center of town and is in a peaceful security estate, with walkways flanked with fynbos, and panoramic sea views at the top.

Doorways Room 1

This bedroom has a queen sized bed with an en suite bath, shower, basin and toilet. It opens onto a verandah which is shared with the other 2 Doorways rooms and guest lounge/dining room. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the guest bedroom. The room looks out over the vineyard and gets wonderful morning sunshine. In addition there is a common area / guest lounge / dining room for the exclusive use of Doorways guests. Free Wifi available in the room.

Cypress Cottage Guest House - Family room

Welcome to Cypress Cottage Guesthouse in the heart of Swellendam. The Family Self Catering Unit accommodates 4 people. It comprises of two separate inter-leading rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The latter room has a small dining and fully equipped kitchenette. There is a wood fire Dover stove and a stove top for cooking. Please note: this unit does not include breakfast. We have a Labrador that is very friendly and playful and 2 cats.

You will be welcomed in a classic home with character, offering a tranquil setting with a magnificent mountain view. Breakfast is included in the price and dinner and/or sundowner platter can be done at an additional charge by prior arrangement. Guided mountain walks (weather permitting) at R150/walk.
