Kalm - Riverside living

Create memories at Kalm, our Breede River retreat in Malgas. The main house sleeps 8 with 3 en-suite bedrooms, open-plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with all amenities. Two large patios with braai and pizza oven, large lawns, shaded seating, wood-fired hot tub, volleyball, games and private jetty. Canoes and SUP's are available. The adjacent cottage sleeps 4 and offers extra privacy. Kalm is perfect for families, friends and pets seeking comfort, nature, and river adventures.

The charming Farm Cottage on our fully operational dairy farm between Bonnievale and Swellendam provides a serene escape. The cottage features a spacious living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and 3 comfortable bedrooms and outdoor braai. Outside you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of the surrounding farmland and mountain views with cows as your neighbours. The river flows nearby, offering opportunities for fishing or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along its banks. We warmly welcome pets.

An expansive stoep overlooking the river with BBQ facilities. Enjoy river activities, fishing,mountain hikes, bird watching, star gazing and a cosy indoor fire on cold evenings.

This unit is freestanding and suited for four guests & is newly renovated from November 2025. The main en suite bedroom has one queen size bed and the second room has the option of either two single beds or one king size bed. With an open plan kitchen with gas stove, microwave oven, fridge, kettle and toaster, you will be able to prepare almost any meal. To make your stay extra comfortable we supply all the luxuries you will need, including towels, swimming towels, good quality linen.

#Bainsbosch A spacious tranquil rustic cabin on the banks of the Wit River at the base of Bains Kloof Pass. The cabin is surrounded by 2 hectares of fynbos and the Limietberg mountains. There is a full kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Mount Bain is a protected nature reserve . The Wit River flows down Bains Kloof. Guests can swim in pristine mountain water, hike into the surrounding mountains or visit several Wine estates nearby.". Backup power is provided for loadshedding.

Akkerbos River House offers the perfect escape to the countryside, enjoy sublime peace, quiet and privacy on the banks of the Klein River. Akkerbos has a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bedrooms all leading onto the veranda. New Beginnings Cottage

Surrounded by mountains boasting a picturesque garden and farm dam view, New Beginnings Cottage is situated on Toddle Inn Farm, 21kms (10kms on gravel) outside the historic town of Montagu in the Western Cape. It is private and mostly quiet and peaceful, however, it is situated in a working farm area. It is pet friendly by arrangement and is mostly fenced off but is open to the farm dam at the bottom so is not 100% foolproof.

Guideboat Lagoon Retreat

A Tranquil restorative outdoor Etopia which is completely off the gridd (solar). It’s a modern luxury villa in a nature conservation on a lagoon, next to a beach and a bird sanctuary. There is walking trails between the fynbos and koppies and whale watching at the beach. It is a remote property but the closest town which is 10 km away offers many restaurants and shops.
