A peaceful retreat that’s only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Berrima, 3 minute drive to Bendooley Estate and 6 min’s to Centennial Vineyards. It’s a space that’s been designed to help you relax, and get away from it all, although you’ll still find every modern convenience you could possibly need. It also feels surprisingly large for a tiny home, with light streaming in the windows from your own private garden and the bushland beyond. And, yes, there are Kangaroos out there, all the time.

All the conveniences you need are taken care of, just open the door and fall into a state of relaxation and tranquility, in this charming little stopover. The space is located at the foot of the the escarpment and in front of Bankbook Park, in the peaceful township of Wongawilli.

Native Ducks, Kookaburra's, Eastern and Crimson Rosellas, Kangaroos and Wombats in abundance. Wood fired heating or air conditioned and wi-fi (Star Link) connected.

The Little House - Pet friendly*/Mid-week special!

While 'house' might be a stretch for this cosy studio-style room, it does have separate facilities. There's a separate "kitchenette", shower and toilet. IT HAS ONE KING SIZE BED and ONE SOFABED. The sofabed is charged at an additional $20/night. The Little House has everything you need for a short stay in The Highlands! * The property welcomes gentle, well socialised pups. The Little House backyard is also shared by my super friendly dog and ewe!

This is a comfortable self-contained studio, formerly an actual artist's studio, underneath the main residence, with its own shower and toilet, as well as a kitchenette. It has a queen bed, a king single that doubles as a sofa, and a single trundle bed. It has a small dining table and four chairs. It now boasts a camping washing machine for light loads, and an airer, as well as a dehumidifier. I also added an air fryer!

Magpie Haven is a north facing independent studio with king size bed, in a separate pod of our architect designed, contemporary home. We are on 1.5 acres overlooking the Wingecarribee River, the village of Berrima and beyond. It is 1 km into Berrima where you will find cafes, restaurants and specialty shops and close to Bendooley Estate and other wedding venues.

Orchard Cottage & Gardens

Orchard Cottage, set in beautiful private gardens in a quiet and exclusive street just 2 mins drive to Moss Vale CBD. It is part of an historic former farmhouse dating from 1917 and originally part of the 1000 acre Throsby Park Homestead, which can be viewed from the garden. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, warm in the winter, cool in the summer.

Farenden Cottage - studio in rural setting

This quaint little studio is situated on a hobby farm set on the slopes of Sutton Forest just an hour and a half from both Sydney and Canberra. Decorated in a rustic country style this little hideaway has everything you need for a Southern Highlands get away.
