We glamped ourselves & decided this would be an ideal situation to set up our own Pods to give others the experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Being in the Glenlivet Estate & also in the Cairngorm National Park there is lots to offer, walking, cycling, bird watching, skiing, also for STARGAZING & of course our National Scottish Drink "WHISKY" lots of Distilleries to Visit.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. There are significant Royal Connections with Balmoral Castle, the summer residence of the Royal Family only a short drive away.There are a good number of places to eat, catering for many tastes as well as a well stocked supermarket. Outdoor activities include many walks and Biking trails with two bike hire sources in the village and the Cairngorms are not too far away.

2 Golf Mews is a secluded hideaway located in the picturesque village of Ballater. The accommodation has been tastefully renovated to modern standards; creating a welcoming, cosy space for visitors to stay whilst they explore beautiful Deeside. The flat is located just a five-minute walk away from the centre Ballater. The village has a large Co-op and plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants and plenty of shops for your perusal. There are three steps up to the property itself.

Welcome to our lodge in Royal Deeside. It’s a quiet, private spot where we’re lucky to be surrounded by nature and vast, open views of the mountains. The lodge is a lovely place to slow down—whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, curling up by the wood-burning stove, or enjoying the hills. The Holt

The Holt is a small wooden cabin situated on the Snow Road route through Aberdeenshire, in the catchment of Royal Deeside and close to Balmoral. It sits within our property but is detached from the main house with it's own decking and private space. Numerous munros and hills are accessible within an easy drive or bike, winter skiing at Glenshee orThe Lecht ski centres, and endless hiking or walking. Ballater and Braemar villages are popular tourist stops.
