The Annexe

Explore the highlands starting or finishing with us on the NC500 route. Enjoy your morning coffee on your very own private arbour listening to the birds singing while looking out for red squirrels, red kites and the local deer. Pop along to the local village 1 mile away or 7 miles to the city if the hustle and bustle of the capital of the highlands attracts.

Cosy & rustic retreat - Woodland Cottage.

The cottage provides 2 bedroomed accommodation with a warm and cosy atmosphere with its wood burning stoves in kitchen and lounge with comfy beds for that home from home feeling. Serviced with a large bath and free standing shower unit and fully equipped kitchen with dinning table. Set within our lovely garden and surrounded by woodland just 200m off the back road - gives guests and children the safety and freedom to roam from the front door. Balmacaan Steading - Luxury Self Catering, Cawdor

A beautifully converted steading set in the private grounds of an 18th Century Georgian Manse on the edge of a traditional Highland conservation village. Cawdor is a most attractive village with an excellent village pub, shop, church and a variety of outdoor pursuits nearby from golf (with 3 Championship golf courses within 10 miles), hill-walking, salmon fishing, shooting, cycling and skiing. Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, and Inverness Airport are both within 15 minutes drive.

The Highland Light Studio

Our newly refurbished studio is in a rural part of Inverness. The studio is a great base to travel around the Highlands, with plenty of interesting places to visit, it is just a few minutes drive from Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor castle and a short distance from numerous beautiful golf courses, 3 of which are championship courses. It's suitable for couples, friends or solo adventurers. The studio comprises: lounge, bedroom, small fitted kitchen and a modern shower room. TV, Wi-fi.

Brambles Cabin – Self-Contained Highland Stay

Cosy, self-contained shepherd’s hut-style cabin in a peaceful rural garden near Culloden Moor, ideal for a short stopover after a flight or a longer Highland stay. Check in and out at any time, ideal for early or late flights. Garden setting with no open views; a car is strongly recommended. The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
