This large Georgian house is ideally located on a quiet residential street in the centre of Cartmel, one of the most picturesque villages in England. Cartmel is famous today for its unique figure of eight racecourse, but is also fantastic for access to the lakes and is surrounded by authentic pubs and famous restaurants. Outside of race days Cartmel is an oasis of peace, with the sleepy River Eaa winding past cobbled streets lined with pretty cottages. There is parking on the drive for 4/5 cars.

Nestled in Cartmel, this cosy cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It offers one double bedroom, a shower room, a separate living/ dining room with a log burner, a well-equipped kitchen along side a washing machine. The cottage is an old granary and therefore the staircase is slightly steeper than standard and open plan . Enjoy country walks and beautiful views, with Cartmel Racecourse just a short stroll away. Close to charming pubs, artisan shops, and the famous sticky toffee pudding.

Drakes Cottage sits within the courtyard of a former 18th-century coaching stable. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk via footpaths and country lanes, home to its 12th century Priory, Michelin starred restaurants and famous sticky toffee pudding. Grange-over-Sands is a 5-minute drive, with shops and a lovely promenade. The southern shores of Lake Windermere are just 12 minutes away. The Nook is a newly refurbished 5* detached property situated within the heart of the beautiful village of Cartmel in the Lake District. We offer private parking for up to 4 cars and 3 outdoor seating areas. The property has 3 double bedrooms, one house bathroom with a bath & shower & one bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen, dining & living ares are open plan, ideal for socialising. The property also has WiFi & Sky TV, a wood burning stove and an outdoor fire pit and BBQ.

(A babe in arms is welcome) 1 small pet allowed The apartment is a minute walk to all the amenities of Cartmel which includes the Race course and the famous Michelin starred Restaurants. We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.

The Apartment on the Square is in a prime position right in the square of the historic and picturesque village of Cartmel. Offering a convenient level walk to the amenities on offer such as individual Shops, Public Houses, Village Store, and world famous eateries. This medieval village is renowned not only for its famous Priory, its Gatehouse but in more recent times for the 'Cartmel Races' Steeplechase meetings, and 'Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding'.
