Highbourne Cottages - Protea | Mountain Retreat

Tucked away on the side of a mountain overlooking the surrounding mountains. Protea cottage is open plan family cottage with the heart of the cottage opening onto a wooden deck – the perfect spot to watch the setting sun. The cottage sleeps up to four people with one large open planned studio-style bedroom on the ground floor and an open loft upstairs with two single beds, just perfect for a family of 4. The studio design allows flow from the well-equipped kitchen to the lounge area and bedroom.

Nestled within the foothills of Cathkin Peak, Mpofu Lodge offers a peaceful escape from the bustle of city life whilst being within close range of Champagne Sports Resort, the Drakensberg Boys' Choir School and Monks Cowl. The fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances has a microwave, washing machine, air fryer fridge and dishwasher. The taps are fitted with filters . Heaters and fans are available if required. Each bedside is fitted with adaptors for cell phones on either end. The 10 x 4 pool is the biggest pool in the complex. Fully serviced before and upon departure
