Central New York : séjours à la ferme

Nick & I absolutely loved our stay at Dave’s Milk Barn. It was charming, adorable, cozy, and gave us exactly what we needed for a respite from the city. Rio & Toby were incredibly flexible, kind, accommodating and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, adorable quaint rustic accommodation. We couldn’t give this place enough positive marks! Will definitely be coming back.

It was great staying at the arist studio behind Kyralesa's house. The elevated funky art that adorns the rich whethered walls was so beautiful. I could not get enough! The wood burning stove was really something else and brought a cozy feeling to the whole stay. It was very simple to check in and it was incredibly convenient being mere minutes away from downtown hudson. This truly was an elevated sleeping expereince. I really enjoyed my stay.

Julie's home is a great base for Catskills winter skiing. We were 4 adults/3 kids under 10 and there was plenty of space and sleeping options. Julie was SUPER responsive and took time to make sure our short stay was a pleasant experience. The home is well laid out with a large living room, plenty of comfortable seating and tons of games and books. Home was easy to find, we received 7 inches of snow the night we stayed and the roads were plowed early the next morning.

My husband and I had such an amazing stay! We took advantages of as many things as we could in the area while we were there and loved our little home away from home (Glamp Thomas.) This was the first of many times glamping for us! Thank you to our wonderful hosts. We will be back with our family.

Seth and Annie are ALWAYS great hosts when my family comes from out of town to stay! Their place is absolutely beautiful, clean, great artwork throughout, just the right amount of kitchen space for the length of the stay. Thank you!

My wife Christine and I stayed at Leslie and Michael’s gorgeous carriage house studio for three nights in April 2025. It was the second year in a row that we chose this fabulous Airbnb to celebrate our anniversary! Saratoga Springs is a fun place! It has a great vibe! And Leslie’s place is just the icing on the cake! The space is pristine and cozy! It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and very close to downtown. Very walkable! Leslie’s communication was superb and Michael greeted us when we arrived to show us the space. Leslie was attentive to us during our stay while also respectful of our privacy! A classy space and classy hosts! A number 1!

Cozy Silo Home is a perfect description of Olga's home! The silo is really unusual, with lots of windows/lighting and is comfortable and nicely decorated. It's a short drive from Woodstock, which is a fantastic area with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. It's also very close to great hiking and other outdoor activities. At the house, we spent most of our time outside on the large balcony/patio and cooking meals on the outdoor grill. We booked last-minute and Olga was very responsive, answered all our questions and made things very easy for us. We live in NYC and a weekend in/around Woodstock is a great way to recharge and reconnect with nature. We definitely recommend Olga's silo home for a weekend or longer!! Note: stairs are required to enter into the home and to get to the bedrooms/bathrooms, so don't bring anything too bulky or heavy.

10/10. We had a great time at the barn this week. Everything that we could hope for. There was plenty of space, a very well-stocked kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and great views. Thanks for hosting

The place was beautifully located and really clean and relaxed. We met with Masha (houskeepster) who was really kind and taught us how to make smores. All in all, great place and experience!

This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

The finger lakes was our destination for a full getaway weekend. We were thrilled to find this property on Lake Skaneateles, our favorite of the finger lakes! We loved the Barndominium from the first moment we entered it! Amazing views! The one big room is comfy, spacious, well equipped, and nicely decorated. We loved having lake access and kayaks to use right on the water!! The pool table was fun to have evenings and on the 1 rainy day. Beds and furniture were comfy, and the bathroom shower was especially spacious. Would we come back? Absolutely!! Thanks for a beautiful stay!!

Great little converted barn on a quiet Catskill back road. My daughter loved seeing the horse in the pasture. The space was clean and we had plenty of room for the four of us. I would certainly come back!

The Copper Barn was a wonderful place to stay for a family wedding in the area. There was plenty of room for my husband and me, as well as our adult children. The place was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Richelle was communicative and friendly. Altogether a terrific experience.

I absolutely loved this chic cozy cabin, so well designed. Also spotless and pristine. This was a sweet getaway with my family, perfectly safe for little ones as it is one-floor and open concept - and I hope to book again during the ski season! Jennifer is a lovely host, super responsive.

The red cabin was an absolute gem! Even better than the photos! Max and Emily were so wonderful and kind. Their dog Finn was so sweet as well. We walked in to a wonderfully homey and well decorated cabin with a carton of fresh eggs and a personalized note on the counter. Both Max and Emily were super responsive with suggestions and anything we needed during the stay but gave just as much space as needed - they definitely know how to match the needs of their guests. We left some butcher meat in the freezer and they were kind enough to keep it for us and let us know and we were able to go pick it up from them after. Such kind people with such a lovely unique cabin offering. Will definitely be back!

Caroline was a great host, super responsive. It was snowing a lot during our stay and she let us park one of our cars in the garage. A fuse also went out when we were using a hair dryer and she was able to immediately send someone to the house to fix it right away. The house was beautiful and we would stay here again, already making potential plans for the summer. We’ve already recommended it to other friends! We had a great time cooking, using the hot tub, lounging around and exploring Rhinebeck which is not far from the house. Not far from Hudson either! Perfect location.

3 generation family stayed in comfort, enjoyed using the kitchen and the living room. Driveway was plowed on a snowy day, heating was fine. Right off highway about 15 min from Cooperstown (good cafes).

Vanita's place is wonderful. Very comfortable. We felt right at home. It's close to the town of Woodstock, yet far enough away to feel secluded. Vanita herself is a communicative and kind host. Thank you, Vanita!

We loved our stay at Dave and Audrey's Barndominium. It was absolutely wonderful from the moment we got there. The inside lights were on, radio on low and it smelled wonderful! A great central location. We went to Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Pennsylvania just to name a few. The Barn is not cluttered yet provided everything we needed, very well thought out. It was very clean, quiet, convenient and comfortable. We would stay there again in a heart beat. Dave was always very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we hoped! Thanks Dave and Audrey. You guys knocked it out of the park with this one!!!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Carriage House. Stephanie was a great host who very graciously allowed us to check in early due to an early flight. The Carriage House was cozy and we had plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and the shower, while a little tricky to figure out, had plenty of hot water. The location was perfect for our day trips to Niagara Falls, Syracuse, Salamanca, and Victor NY. We enjoyed watching the sheep and chickens on the property. The 11:00 check out time was also nice as most places we stay want you out by 9:00-10:00. We would definitely stay here again. If you stay here, be sure to eat at Stone’s Countryside Tavern. The prime rib dinner was amazing and so was the hot turkey sandwich.

Cupcake cottage is heavenly! Surrounded by beauty and sounds of a peaceful creek, I found myself appreciating all the big and small things this beautiful property and charming home had to offer from the sweeping layers of forest views to a fully stocked cottage that had great things like BPA free reusable food bags and some of the best cooking salt around. We enjoyed Peter’s impressive record collection as well as his variety of cookbooks. We enjoyed some of the hikes that Peter recommended, and we are looking forward to another trip when we can explore even more. Peter recommended a grocery store called Adams which had good products to choose from. Peter was helpful, communicative, and flexible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, Peter!

The host was very pleased understanding and easy to communicate with regarding the entire process. The house is the guest house for the establishment and is adorable. It is perfect for a small group weekend outing. The decorations and esthetics of the house are perfectly arranged to enhance the experience. The beds and linens are very comfortable, and both bedrooms are spacious and lovely. The host made checkout a breeze. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area! :)

What a wonderful getaway. The home is comfortably complete with a well curated, original art collection. We enjoyed our time spent around the wood burning stove that solidified the stillness of mountain life. The internet worked consistently, the house was well-stocked , and it was fun having goats as neighbors. We’d gladly return. Our son especially loved the trampoline!

Wow, what a place. We were looking for a place to just a cousins girls weekend, in the woods/mountains some where. We wanted a big open space to gather, sleeping for 10 and privacy, we knew we would probably be loud (we laugh a lot and aren’t quiet by nature), this place hit the mark!! We brought all our food and drinks, the home had everything else we needed. This was probably the best weekend we’ve had in a long time. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the deck, enjoying the peace and sounds of nature!
