We had a great stay at this home. Daniel was very responsive with any questions we had and very helpful with suggesting transportation options. The home is clean and quiet. The lake views are fantastic. Both Panajachel and Santa Catarina towns were accessible via tuk tuk (about 5 min ride). We would 100% stay here again.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

No busques más !! Este es tu alquiler en lago atitlan! El lugar es espectacular. Nuevo, cálido, acogedor. Cabañas de madera, muy bien equipadas, todo nuevo. Se siente mucha calidez. Sumergidas en un amplio espacio verde, con mucha flora y fauna que te ayudan a desconectar increíblemente de los ruidos de la ciudad. La ubicación? Ideal. A 10 minutos caminando del centro de san Marcos la laguna, pero si sales a la vereda, muchos tuc tuc frenarán a llevarte. Y lo mejor ? Sus vistas de frente al lago y los volcanes. Además, si cruzas la vereda, ingresas en un terreno privado, con muelle privado para disfrutar Sin dudas volvería a este Airbnb si viniera a Guatemala nuevamente

Excelente lugar, muy a gusto y muy bonito todo, desde la arquitectura hasta las amenidades. Guy es un excelente anfitrión que siempre está al pendiente y dispuesto a ayudar.

Lovely Airbnb with beautiful lake view! We would really recommend the stay here. Easy to go to other places as well with public taxi boats. And a beautiful garden with flowers, birds, butterflies, squirrels and even fruits. Only downside is less privacy because of a public path in front of the garden.

Casita Piegatto was a wonderful place to relax and take in nature and the beautiful surroundings. Alvaro, the house manager is absolutely wonderful and truly made our experience fantastic! He helped arrange anything we needed and was always available. It would be tough to be there without him because it is a very remote location and there is not much near by. I have a few notes, did not bother us but will be helpful to know ahead of time… -2 bedrooms not 4 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms that have walls & doors that close. The other two are open areas that everyone walks by to get to the bedrooms or upstairs. There are sliding screens but the rooms are not private and do not have doors that shut. -200 very steep steps to the property. Must be able bodied to stay here. -A/C does not work in all rooms. doors/windows do not have screens. Many bugs and rain is unpredictable so leaving the windows open at night might not be the best idea. Highly recommend this property! It was great!

Stunning views and a quick walk to town! We didn't see better views of Lake Atitlan from any other place. It was a joy to relax in the house and take it all in! When we needed to get into town for groceries and to restaurants, we took a pleasant walk through local roads, always passing by a tuk tuk if we wanted a ride instead.

The place has an amazing view—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly without any delays. Wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to everything but not right in the center. Quiet at night, easy for transportation companies to get to, efficient check in process and good recommendations. German the tuktuk driver was our favorite!! Owner gave us his number upon arrival

Un lugar muy recomendable, muy cerca del lago para visitar y de tiendas para comprar comida y recuerdos. Además, está cerca de las lanchas para visitar varios sitios de la laguna.

Un lugar realmente privilegiado, con vistas maravillosas. Miguel, el anfitrión, es súper atento y siempre está pendiente de que todo esté perfecto. Los encargados también son muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que necesites. He pasado unos días increíbles en este espacio privado, tranquilo y lleno de paz. ¡Definitivamente un lugar al que volvería!

I stayed here on glorious week and could have stayed another. The place was exactly as described and the rooftop deck/kitchen was an amazing place to work and chill. It was a 50 yard walk to the lake and only a 5-10 walk to the main tourist area. It’s also about as peaceful as San Pedro gets. Town has a party vibe so you will still hear music at night and the occasional dog barking but nothing that even cheap earplugs can’t handle.

Wow! This is an incredible place, we were very fortunate to stay for a few days. The pictures don’t do it justice, you’ll feel like you’re in an issue of Architectural Digest. The hosts provide an exceptional guidebook that lays out everything you need to have a tremendous stay, and they are very attentive if you need anything. We hope to make it out and stay again some time!

We had an amazing experience at this property! The gardens are absolutely stunning, and the yacht club is both beautiful and inviting. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved the kayak. However, we did encounter a few challenges. Access to the area can be a bit difficult, so we recommend arriving by 4x4 vehicle, boat, or tuk tuk. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know in advance that the "parking by premises" is located in a separate lot, not directly at the house. Unfortunately, we found ourselves stuck in the grass for a few days and were unable to move our vehicle. Thankfully, the gardener was kind enough to assist us in getting our van out. While the home itself is charming, it is slightly older compared to others in the area. The cabin could benefit from some updates, and we would caution families with young children, as there are no safety rails around the property. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but there are a few areas for improvement.

The staying at Pats Casita was amazing. The location is private with beautiful, surrounded by lush plants and many birds. The location is close enough to walk to restaurants and many activities. Cooking was convenient. The outdoor sitting areas were very nice, quiet and private. Pat is very responsive with any needs.

Nice, mostly private location right by the water with ability to swim in cleaner parts of Lake Atitlan as well as kayak and paddle boards availability upon request. While it is a slight walk from the town, it is much nicer to be by the water than the hustle and bustle. The two paths are either the more complicated one involving steep stairs or the one through the Natural Reserve which are dependent on operating hours. Niels, the host, and Victor, the housekeeper are responsive and flexible. We came in via private boat given the access to the house is far and we had suitcases. Definitely more on the expensive end. Would put that into consideration when deciding on this Airbnb. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Absolutely phantasmagoric place to stay and within reach of the downtown city center. Ask the staff for recommendations for contact information for lancha drivers, cabs, or guides. Beautiful place. Extremely kind and supportive people. Great restaurant. Amazing space to relax and be engulfed in the views and nature all around you.

Marcos was beyond helpful during our stay at his beautiful lake house! He greeted us personally when we arrived and was quick to respond to our questions. He provided a guide with local restaurants and activities which made exploring easier. The home was spotless, welcoming, and such a restful place to relax. We hope to be back to visit in the future, and would highly recommend Marcos’ home as a place to stay!

My stay at Casa de Sirena was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and connection to nature that’s hard to find these days. The house is perfectly situated with a breathtaking view of the lake right from the backyard. Waking up each morning to that serene view and the sounds of nature was truly a gift. What made Casa de Sirena feel even more special was the little touches that brought it all to life. The chickens and the sweet dog on the property gave it a homey, comforting feel. It reminded me so much of my childhood—spending time outdoors, surrounded by animals, fresh air, and simple joys. It was a beautiful blend of nostalgia and tranquility. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat to recharge and reconnect—with nature, with yourself, or with your loved ones—Casa de Sirena is the perfect place. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about my next visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Perfect place to stay in atitlan. Calm, beautiful views, lots of nature around, we loved it. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook food everyday if you want. We’ll definitely come back! Thanks Miriam for all the help 🙌🏼
