Rose's place is filled with light; it is warm and welcoming. Everything works and is well put together. We felt immediately welcome and comfortable.

Moira’s apartment was a fabulous spot to spend Christmas - it was clean and well stocked and she had gone the extra mile with Christmas decorations and even a couple of gifts under the tree! Her communication was excellent and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone needing a spot to stay in Newcastle. Thanks Moira!

This peaceful location was a great escape from our busy digital lives and a chance to get back in touch with nature. The unit is clean and comfortable with a nice arty vibe. Penelope is lovely. It has everything you need and more! The bed is comfy, the seating area is just right, and there are small touches throughout that make it so comfortable and homey. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The place is walkable to the waterfront. Lynda is super responsive and kind. We really enjoyed our cozy stay!

What a lovely place! I couldn't recommend this stay more. It was such a relaxing weekend, and we will definitely be back. The hosts were incredibly friendly and quick to respond, the house was beautifully styled and cozy.

We had a great stay in Peter's 'shack'! It is bright, spacious and comfortable. Despite hot weather, it receives a lovely cool breeze, keeping the temperature down. Kitchen & bathroom were well stocked & it was peaceful and relaxing to sit out on the deck. Peter was responsive and accommodating and I would definitely stay again on future holidays.

We had a wonderful stay! Ola and Barn truly thought of every detail, making our experience so much more enjoyable. The kids’ room was a highlight—complete with a toy box full of hours of entertainment! We even had beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the house that made the holiday extra special. It felt like they went above and beyond to create a welcoming, thoughtful space for our entire family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, from all sorts of plates and dishes for our antipasto platter to even the tiniest things you might forget—like a screwdriver! We were so grateful for that, especially when we realized we needed it to add batteries to the kids’ Christmas presents. The little touches made all the difference, and it felt like the hosts were truly invested in ensuring we had a perfect stay. The location of the home was fantastic. Being able to look out to the lake made the visit feel very peaceful even though you’re only a few minutes walk away from lively cafes and shops. Not having to drive to the Avoca markets was an added bonus. The living area is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Ruth was a great host. Despite not have the best weather, we still found plenty to do in Avoca. If you’re looking for more entertainment Terrigal is less than a 10 minute drive away.

Our stay was great, the location is perfect, close to the park, short drive to main restaurants, shops and cafes. Laura was friendly and helpful.

Roxy's place is exactly as described. Her home is both welcoming and warm. The location is great, with Anna Bay better than I expected. Roxy was engaging and kept me posted along the way. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We had a great stay at Travis’ place. A very cool and well designed townhouse located in a great position to explore the local area. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. Definitely recommend.
