We loved our stay at Jamie’s place. The apartment had everything we needed. It felt like home. The beds and sitting areas were comfortable. It is located a short walking distance from everything we wanted to see and do, yet it felt private. Jamie is a great host. He was quick to respond to our questions and provided detailed videos on how to park and find the apartment. Inside, he provided helpful instructions on how to use everything in the apartment. Jamie was proactive to reach out to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This and all the other little touches were very much appreciated! We would definitely stay here again!

The Appartement was very clean and tastefully decorated. Stephanie was always very quick in answering questions that we had. The location of the Appartement was very good, smack dab in the middle of the touristy area. Almost everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance. The check-in at the door is quite simple. Stephanie’s Reccomomdaltions were all quite good There wasn’t really anything to complain about. Definitely an amazing choice and if we would ever go to Galway again, we would definitely book this place again

Irene's place offered unmatched views in Galway. River Corrid from living room and bedrooms. Great reading nooks. We got to see the seals at highs tide (as Irene told us). She accommodated extra linen we needed and met us when we left. Quick to respond and great suggestions in her book. It was plenty space for the kiddos to play around. mind the steep steps (something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues). Overall the location and views are unparalleled. We can't wait to come back

If you're looking for a gorgeous, spacious, comfortable place from which to explore County Mayo, Westport or some of the local islands, this is it. Three fireplaces, a beautiful Aga in the kitchen, lots of reading nooks, outdoor spaces, beautiful views, super friendly neighbors -- these made our stay a dream come true. Groceries/conveniences are not close, so it was important for us to think ahead, but we loved the remoteness of the house. We got sourdough cinnamon rolls and Cornrue Bakery in Westport as often as we could and consumed at least one loaf of brown soda bread a day (with KerryGold, of course). The Irish stew etc. at the Tavern were fantastic. Our daily beach walks and visits to the newborn lambs across the street were a highlight.

Geraldine was very accommodating to help our stay run very smoothly. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and close to all the attractions. We could walk everywhere if we needed to or get public transport. The en suite facilities were most welcome when there were 4 ladies sharing. The apartment was well equipped with everything that we could possibly need during our stay. We had a great time and would recommend this apartment to anyone thinking about staying in Galway. It was very close to everywhere and central to the city.

It was a super nice house and was neatly maintained. We had a nice view of the sea and nature. It was also a super nice neighbourhood and friendly neighbors. Also the the communication with Doris was smooth & fast. Thank you!

We had a little trouble locating the property but Patrick's wife, Michelle, came to find us so that we could follow her there. She was very kind and welcoming and even escorted us in to town and recommended some restaurants to us. It is a beautiful place to stay, clean and well equipped, with stunning views of the Irish countryside and excellent hosts. Would highly recommend.

We are 4 friends who stayed over Easter and loved every minute of it. Bear House was spotless, spacious & ideal for us having everything we needed for our stay. This trip we didn’t do much cooking but if we had wanted to, everything was there that would be needed. Lynn left us some supplies & treats which we really appreciated. The house is a convenient ten min walk into Clifden which we did 2 nights for dinner - lots of choice of eateries in Clifden. Mitchell’s is always a fave. We picked up takeaway from Ravis one night to eat at home. And this was the perfect base to explore the area - Killary Fjord boat trip, Killary sheep farm, Kylemore Abbey, Doolough, Renvyle - so much to see & do. And of course Clifden itself. Lynn left us plenty of instructions, had the heating on for us so the house was cosy & welcoming on a cold rainy evening. The communication was great, easy to find and access the house. I’ve no hesitation in recommending Bear House highly to anyone visiting Clifden.

Great space. Tons of room and fully kitted out with modern appliances and cooking equipment. We ended up shopping at the Eurostar in town and cooked every night. The area was great for access to the Aran island ferry and within 45 minutes of Galway. Beautiful part of the country and great access to miles of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Great location, very clean and comfortable unit and everything was exactly as outlined and pictured. Highly recommend Hugh and his properties!!

We had a wonderful time with my friends in Galway, we were really satisfied with the accommodation: it corresponds to the pictures, it’s clean and convenient. Very close from the city center. Padraig is a lovely host and was very reactive by message in case of any problems. I would definitely come back, I recommend at 100%.

We stayed here for the last stop on our Ireland trip and the location couldn’t have been better. We had a view of the Spanish Arch right from the window and could walk to everything—shopping, dining, pubs, and beautiful riverside paths. We also had a great time exploring along the river toward the university and visiting the gorgeous Galway Cathedral. The apartment was clean and worked well for what we needed. One of the beds wasn’t as comfortable as the other and would probably be better suited for a child. The internet was a little spotty, but that might just be the area. Overall, it was a solid base for enjoying Galway, and we’re glad we stayed. Galway is a must stop for some great food and Craic.

This apartment is very comfortable and within walking distance from Salthill, with its beautiful promenade and charming restaurants and pubs. Guests without a car can catch a bus into Galway at a stop across the street. My husband and I enjoyed Galway’s lively pub and restaurant scene and historical sites and also got to see the gorgeous coast and even see a sheep-herding demonstration by taking a couple of bus tours (through Lally Tours). We had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Mary’s place! The surroundings are beautiful, and the location is convenient with great access to the town. The price was very reasonable for everything that was offered. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, the hot tub and sauna made our trip so much more enjoyable — they turned rainy days into relaxing afternoons. Sitting by the dock with a cup of hot tea, watching the water, was one of the most peaceful moments of our stay. Thank you, Mary, for providing such a cozy and lovely getaway!

One of the best Air BnB’s we have stayed in , particularly for Ireland and for a dog friendly space. Instructions were very clear and accessible was easy. The apartment is very well laid out and has everything you need and more - we only wished we could have stayed longer.

Michelle’s place was in a great location so close to all the things in the city and just outside! We enjoyed the modern decor and the patio outside was so cute! We stayed over St Patrick’s day, so it was a bit loud outside at times, but, the place was comfy and suited our family of 5 adults well. Would book again on a return trip.

I had a really lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The apartment was spotless and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. Catherine was a fantastic host, communication was excellent, and her instructions were really clear and helpful. I also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket with a few essentials—it was such a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
