This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. Walking and hiking trails right outside the front door. A perfect getaway in any season. You will be renting the upper main two floors of the chalet.

Separate outhouse with hot shower. Rural location near easy walking trails, bird watching , biking and swimming. Excellent location for writers, artists and nature lovers. Non smoking only! The whole group will enjoy easy access to beaches, trails, and downtown from this centrally located place. It is easy to bike or walk around Comox. The Comox Valley is a hub to mountain biking trails, notably Cumberland, Strathcona Park hiking trails, and Mount Washington skiing. Comox is on a peninsula surrounded by beautiful beaches. We also allow pets for a $45/trip but are willing to negotiate for shorter trips.
