The Lodge at Woodend

A lovely detached house, with two bedrooms (bedroom 2 has a super-king bed or 2 single beds), bathroom with shower, full kitchen, dining area and lounge with wood burning stove. Situated in Aberdeenshire, ideally located for exploring the castles, hill-walking and the many amenities that Kemnay has to offer. The Lodge has an elevated view of the local countryside, quiet with lots of wildlife, but only a 5 minute walk to excellent local restaurants and a great pub with beer garden. AS 00998F

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. The Shepherdess's bothy is our dog friendly bothy that really brings the outdoors in with panoramic views across the beautiful Aberdeenshire coast. This cosy, self catering, bespoke bothy is the perfect place to explore the area. Within walking distance of the bothy you will find the Newburgh seal colony, beautiful beaches, nature reserves and a golf course. Old Stable cottage is a 1 bedroom converted Barn/Stable, with fully serviceable kitchen, Fabulous large walk-in shower, beautifully converted living room, wifi, large wall mounted TV and fully central heated, warm & Cosy, sleeps 2 in the upper bedroom, has a small enclosed garden and parking space at the side, and we do welcome small well-behaved dogs. We are situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire, close to miles of walking, cycling and located perfectly to base your adventure from.
