Pen y Maes Cottage Criccieth

A 200 year old stone cottage with original beams . Known in Welsh as ‘Ty Capel’ it was originally the caretaker’s house for the Baptist Chapel next door , now my home. The stream running through the garden is where Lloyd George , a former British Prime Minister was baptised . The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views towards Criccieth Castle and the sea /mountains of Cardigan Bay. The cottage has been decorated all through with new carpets everywhere.

A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Luxuriate in a super king size bed, and wake up to views of Snowdonia through the picture windows.

Nestled between the mountains and the sea is Gwêl y Sêr (see the stars). A beautiful cabin where you can switch off and listen to the sounds of nature. On dark nights in winter the milky way can be seen from outside, hence the name. The cabin is located in a central spot in North Wales, we are 2 miles from the closest beach and 1 mile from the mountains. We are also in a central location for access to both zipworlds, as well as close distance to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

Set beside the apple orchard at The Old Sheep Farm in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), The Hayloft is a dog-friendly, one-bedroom crog-loft hideaway a short drive from the coast. Cosy cottage in North Wales, very close to the beach, 10 minute walk or 2 minutes drive. Close to the popular villages of Abersoch and Pwllheli. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Located in the quiet village of Abererch. Local shops, bars and restaurants all just 5-10 minutes drive away. Clean, well behaved dogs are welcome but please keep them downstairs as the upstairs has a cream carpet. Thank you
