Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Glamping & Barbecue Cabin at Moorside Farmhouse

Our Glamping & Barbecue Cabin is an alternative type of accommodation for people who enjoy camping and the great outdoors, but appreciate the warmth and luxury of a solid roof. It is a very private timber cabin with a barbecue/fire pit as its centre. The seats convert easily from a comfortable cooking, eating and lounging area into three single beds. The cooker/burner will keep you warm all night. You will have 24hr exclusive access to the toilet and shower room about 10 metres from the cabin.

The Kites Rest

A luxurious Mongolian yurt with fantastic views of the surrounding Galloway countryside. It is a 20ft self-catering yurt with a cosy wood-burning stove at its heart. Our spacious yurt enjoys a large secluded decking area perfect for enjoying a stunning Castle Creavie sunset or spending a night under the Galloway starry skies. Or why not lie back on a king size bed and stargaze through the exposed crown while keeping toasty warm beside the fire. A romantic and totally unique escape to nature

Traditional Mountain Yurt

Our traditional oak yurt is located above the stunning Loweswater Lake which is only a 5 minute walk to the shore. With a double bed and a sofa bed it can comfortably sleep two adults and two children. We don’t have much signal in the valley nor does the Yurt have mains power so you really feel in the wild. We also have a campsite so you’ll be sharing toilets and showers with any body that’s staying as well. There’s a fridge and a sink to wash up but we don’t supply any pots, pans or utensils.

Hazelnut Yurt, two miles from Loch Ken, Galloway

Get away from it all at Hazelnut Yurt, located in beautiful rural Galloway, just 10 minutes from Loch Ken. The yurt sleeps 2 adults and one under 2 and is set in a really special wee spot on our ten acre smallholding – completely secluded, it’s nestled amongst the hazelnut trees, by a stream, with just the birds for neighbours. Outside, you can enjoy a fire by the water or a sundowner on the outdoor seating. A picture window and woodburner mean you can enjoy the setting, no matter the weather.

The Roundhouse, The Lake District

Our Roundhouse is on a working farm with rare breed sheep, cattle and Cumbrian Heavy Horses (come & ride!) Set in a beautiful valley in south west Cumbria, amazing views, a stream running closeby, it's peaceful. Locally, a variety of good pub/restaurants (would recommend having a car though). You’ll love our roundhouse, it has good facilities, see pics, is unique, cosy, romantic, with a wood burning stove, has a stunning location, and is good for couples, friends, outdoor folk; we take dogs😁

Cumfrey Yurt at Fairy Bell Wood

Watch the sun go down over the Lakeland Fells from Cumfrey yurt within the tranquillity of Fairy Bell Wood; nestled between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. The yurt sits in its own private clearing within native woodland. Wander through the glades and sit by the pond to soak up the peace and tranquillity, keeping eyes and ears open for the local wildlife. Using love and attention to detail we have crafted the furniture of the yurt using reclaimed or local materials.
