The house was absolutely stunning! Everything is so nicely put together and super clean! The area is beautiful, quite, and peaceful. I'm already trying to find an excuse to return to Jasper, Georgia. There's so much to do on the property. You truly can make a multi day vacation with the amount of activities located in Big Canoe. Definitely take the time to visit the restaurant! The food was great and everything was super convenient to get to even with detours. The drive can be a little daunting at night as there are lots of turns and twist in the roads, but once you make it to the home, it's ALL worth it! Lindsay welcomed us to her home with clear instruction on what to expect. We had a fantastic time!

Book it if you are reading this. Just leave another long weekend open for us to come back ;). We have traveled to many places and resided in many unique places like the mountains of Puerto Rico, to Vietnam and other treehouses in the blue ridge mountains, but wife and I agreed that we felt most at home, relaxed and entertained most thoroughly at Dahlonega. It was what we had envisioned for our anniversary stay and we were speechless at the details and attention that this lovely couple poured into their home. From the heated bathroom floor, sauna, and hot tub to the put put golf and to my most favorite of all, being an audiophile, the projector and theater movie screen and sound system to match, with ambient lighting throughout the house. After a long day of hiking on the AT, it was a perfectly tranquil place to come home to. Thank you for our amazing 3 nights stay.🙏🏻

Great house and location. Fully equipped even down to the scotch tape to wrap the wedding presents ( which we had left at home) Great host.

The view from the house was beautiful and the home was cozy and well equipped. John was also very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend.

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

Beau's place was perfect for 5 plus a dog. Fully equipped and had all we needed. My daughter and boyfriend took over the basement and there is privacy for all. Loved all the deer we saw and the absolute beauty of Big Canoe. Beau was wonderful and gave great suggestions and was always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend.
