We stayed in this house for 3 weeks with 4 adults and 2 kids. It was wonderful for a family with small kids. Walking distance to the beach and a closed garden for kids to play in. Nice, quite and safe area.

We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

What an amazing house, great open plan for everyone to get together and private and quiet bedrooms down the corridor. Convenient outside flatlet for “the parents”. Fantastic overall the hiking and biking options at your doorstep and the beach a short drive or walk always makes this the perfect weekend getaway

Lovely environment, spacious and well decorated. Perfectly located in Stanford village, walking distance to restaurants and shops. And Catalina and Ronnie were great hosts Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in future

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this would be a good option. Slightly outside Hermanus, near the lagoon. Large living room windows look out to the water, where you can watch birds and just make out the ocean waves in the distance. Kitchen was stocked so you can do some light cooking. One room had an extra sink, which is nice. We could only get youtube to work on the TV, but who needs TV on vacation? Pack a book instead. Weather was not ideal during our visit to use the kayak, but this could have been fun. Water looked shallow enough in parts to walk in.

We had an amazing time staying at Leon's place over the Easter weekend. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Amazing views of the Hemel en Aarde valley from the pool or hot tub. We'll definitely come back.

Toni’s place was so beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. She was a lovely host and very responsive. Would definitely be back!

Clare was an amazing host and her home a perfect stay. Beautiful views and intimate setting to enjoy quality time with friends and family. Indoor and outdoor braais, many bedrooms and a lovely terrace area. Everything was clean and read for us on arrival. I can't recommend it enough!

We just returned from a (too brief!) stay at Hans' place and are already planning our next visit. The house is modern, immaculate and comfortable, but the location is absolutely incredible. The kids would have happily spent our entire visit down at the beach, and we enjoyed starting and ending our days (with coffee or wine in hand) walking down the path to the shore and sitting on a bench taking in the view while they splashed about. On our next visit we will plan fewer excursions and build in more down time to spend at the house just enjoying the property and the amazing location.
